LANDED SUCCESSFULLY

The day we all waited for is finally here. We were all ready early in the morning. Dad too came along just to meet Nono138 before leaving. Nono was all prepared for the mission he was created for. All were very quiet and excited. Seems like they don’t even wanna miss anything happening there. Bea and Stephen came and stood next to me. Dad and Uber were standing far and I had to stand with the Main and team. Clara and Jain too came to see. Such a happy moment, the UFO is all ready. Dad was so sad to leave Nono for a mission like that but let's hope for the best. Before leaving it came to meet dad, “Trust me, dad, I’ll do it. I’ll do my best to make sure that I won’t be just a waste of time for you.“. Dad was sad and told it he will be proud of his creation whatever happens. Robots don’t have many feelings, but before getting into the spaceship he turned and looked at dad then got in. He was soon seated and he fastened his seat belt. The UFO was a bit far from here and Nono had to go himself there. None other than government officials were allowed near that area. So we couldn’t go there. We all could see everything from the big screen in the research center.

On reaching there, Nono138 send us a message as told to it and soon the spaceship got into the UFO. After a little waiting for the permission to take off, it took off and all started to disperse. Dad came closer to me and said “So...I’ll leave now. Give me a video call when it reaches. I don’t wanna stay here much. A lot of old acquaintances are asking me a lot of unnecessary questions, not feeling like being in a talk so....“. “Ok dad, bye” I said and turned to go meet Main. He was very tense and pleasant when he saw me “JC Laisy, I’m glad to see you. I know you are also as worried as me. Don’t know what's next and it will take another 5 hours to get any updates, hmmm.........”. I can totally understand him and 5 hours looks like a long time to wait. Coming out of Main’s office I saw Bea waiting for me “Laisy, it will go good don’t worry”. She was really one among those few who understood what is going on in my mind even before I say.

After waiting for long here we are, back near the big screen with a lot of expectations and feelings which can’t be put into words. We received the message that Nono138 landed on the satellite of Earth, the Moon. It has landed on the part of the Moon which faces the Earth. We now had to get basic information about it which Nono138 could complete in 2 days. We just had to wait a bit more and record all the details we get. We were all happy Nono completed one part of his journey and hoped he could do more. “Congrats Laisy, you deserve it. A small success and you too Stephen. I know you both had sleepless nights working on Nono138. Can be a bit happy now, it's not a failure.” Main Gust said loudly. Bea too told me this a great happiness and ya....all credit goes to my genius dad. I soon returned home very happy and told dad how pleased all were with his work. He already knew that Nono landed on Moon but he was worried about the next part of the journey, the journey to Earth. The next 2 days were actually very busy with collecting, saving, and recording as many details as possible from Nono.

“The Moon didn’t rotate itself, it just revolved around the Earth. The Earth rotates and revolves around Sun, which is their star like our Sona (sun). The moon reflects the light from Sun, it has a thick rocky crust, with lunar soil called regolith and large basalt deposits, which are dark-colored rocks formed by rapidly cooled lava. The mantle is made of both solid and semi-solid rocks, on inside of the Moon is a solid iron core. We have also received many more details about it.” Main Gust informed the government officials “So.....I hope we can ask it to slowly start moving towards Earth very soon. I guess you don’t mind me proceeding faster ?“. The officials actually wanted us to move faster so they didn’t have any objections to it. It was approved soon enough to proceed and we did send a message to Nono138 to take off from the Moon and move towards the Earth. He could reach Earth very soon, which he did. It took hardly an hour to reach its atmosphere, passing through the depleted Ozone layer, getting closer to the Earth's surface and the spaceship moves at a high speed so that it does be very difficult for the creatures to notice it. Nono was asked to find an area where very few lives could be detected and he did as told. It's then we saw the Earth surface through the big screen, it then suddenly struck me...I remember this place. Soon enough detecting the whole area we received a message from Nono, “This is a desert. Not many lives are found here, no water body found anywhere close, the temperature is very high here. This place seems too difficult to escape from if trapped in one's. Not suitable for Homos. Spaceship soon landing.” it said in its robotic voice. It flashed on the screen 5.......4.......3.......2........1......0 ‘SUCCESSFULLY LANDED’.

Oh....lucky us, we didn’t have any connection issues this time as we did before. Nono138 got out of the spaceship into the Earth's surface, on a desert. We were overjoyed but not for too long, none of us knew that coming but our 6th sense as usual warned us really late this time too. Before Nono even got any time to move.....our spaceship.... blasted. Before our eyes a mission we had so much hope on, something on which many of us worked very hard on, something we thought would be a turning point, a mission we thought success just exploded, that too right in front of us. How many of you know that pain when you wish for something very badly, works for it the whole day and night, and the moment you think you are gonna get that sweet fruit for your hard work and then it all goes down in front of you? Should have given Nono some time. Shouldn't have rushed a lot with both the robot and the spaceship. Should have done a few more tests on it before the main mission. Should have told poor Nono to be a bit more careful. This great reopened mission was being shown in National News channels too.....ya of course dad saw it all. He left all these goals and missions behind long ago, due to me..... it's just due to me he worked for it and after a long time started to dream, wanted success, and had so many expectations. I was feeling guilty, I'm the bad person, I left them all down. It's all my fault and just mine.
