Thena's POV
I woke up at my normal time to get ready for school. As I was getting in the shower I heard my phone buzz, when I looked at the message, it was from Andie and I instantly smiled. Goddess, she just makes me so happy.
"Hey Theen, just wanted to check that you were still walking me to the bus stop today?:)"
"Of course Andie, I was just about to hop in the shower:)" I don't know why I decided to tell her I was getting in the shower. Clearly, I would want to look nice today since I have my drivers test this morning.
"Okay Theen, just let me know when you are headed this way:)! Still not 100% okay with you thinking I "need" protection." Oh, I just know she was rolling her eyes but she just doesn't understand how serious this problem is.
"You may not "need" protection, but for your mom, I have to do everything in my power to make sure you get home to her."
After my shower, I styled my pixie hair into a nice set of waves. As I was leaving the pack house, I grabbed Andie and myself an apple for breakfast. "Hey Ands, I am headed to your house:)" I am so excited to walk her to the bus stop. When I make it to her house she is already sitting in the porch swing reading her newest book, she is such a bookworm.
"Hey there Andie, you ready?" She jumped. I guess she was so engrossed in her book that she didn't hear or smell me coming.
"Theen! You scared me! You can't just go sneaking up on people!" I know she's yelling but she's smiling so she can't be that mad.
"My apologies, the gorgeous Andie, would you mind walking with me to the bus stop to meet up with Zeke?" I knew that would make her blush. We have always been so up front with each other about how we look.
"Oh the mighty Theen, I would love to join you in the quest of meeting Zeke." Great, now I'm blushing. I handed her the apple that I grabbed for her this morning, "in case you didn't have time to eat breakfast this morning can't see you go hungry." She smiled her gorgeous smile.
"Thanks Theen, yeah I was to into my book this morning to eat my usual cereal" she said giggling. We talked the whole walk to the bus stop about life and my drivers test. "I am so excited to start driving you guys to school" honestly I am terrified that I might fail but Andies energy fills me with so much hope.
"I know you have this Theen, don't you worry" she says as she kisses me on the cheek.
We make it to the bus stop just as Zeke was walking up. "Hey Zeke, how was your morning?"
"Oh the usual, grabbed some toast on my way out the door and had to distract Joana as I was leaving so she didn't follow me." Joana is Zekes much younger sister she's only three years old right now and wants to be just like her big brother.
"Oh Joana, she just looks up to you so much, well you two have a great morning I have to go and pass this drivers test," I say with a nervous laugh, "take good care of Andie she's precious cargo." And with that I left for the pack house.
