Chapter:11(Brother)

Lily's POV

"I AM NOT YOUR MATE! You said it yourself that I was WORTHLESS for YOU!" I shouted in pure disgust.

He flinched as I spoke into my alpha tone. I tried to get out of his hold, but it was futile. His grip on my waist became tighter and tighter. No! I can't let him affect me anymore! – I thought to myself.

'Lily, I want you to forgive him. But he hurt both of us very badly, lets go away from him,' Mayra mind-linked me.

"Thank you, a lot for understanding me. I am gonna make him feel the Pain he gave me and make him break the mate-bond,' I mind-linked her.

"Jacob or may I say Alpha King? Can you please let go of your good for nothing mate?" I said with venom dripping through each word.

His eyes held so much pain more than before. It felt I was shattering his heart into million of pieces. I kept on my hard look. I can't feel pain for him. I didn't want to be us like this, he was the one who rejected me even though he didn't say the words. I wanted it to work between us even though he kept me in the dungeons.

"Please don't call me Alpha king. Just give a chance to exp-" I cut him off by saying, "Give you a chance to tell me that you love me so much. You can't basically live without me."

I pushed him off me with force which I never had. He hit the wall and I think I heard something break inside him. I saw him getting up from the floor with a bloody nose. He winced in pain as he tried to walk towards me. This was my chance I needed to get out of there. I jumped of the window and heard him shout calling my name. I landed on the ground safely and shifted into my wolf.

"Run! Mayra, run faster! We can't let them catch us," I shouted.

We began to ran into such a fast speed that it felt like we were teleporting. We weren't tired of running at all. We ran and ran for hours until we were out in nowhere. I saw a cave and told Mayra that we should go inside there. There was a storm coming in our direction, so we hurriedly went inside the cave. I thought that we need to go out again to collect wood, but the cave was relatively warm. I remembered that I had no clothes with me and I tore my hospital gown while shifting into my wolf. i decided to stay into my wolf form so that we can fight off any dangers and also for the reason that I didn't have and clothes with me. If I stayed into human form I would freeze to death. I wasn't hungry so I dozed off to sleep. I felt someone touching my face and carrying me. I thought that was a dream and didn't bother to look up.

I woke up and saw that I was into a luxurious room. I quickly sat up and saw that there was a very handsome man looking at me and giving me a warm smile.

"Who are you? Why am I here? What do you want from me?" I asked.

"I am Delian. I am a vampire and you are in my castle. Don't worry I won't hurt you," he replied gently.

That's why he smells different, but he doesn't smell bad.

"If you are a vampire, why didn't you kill me? I always thought that vampires hated werewolves," I said politely.

"Oh! Those are rumors spread by our haters. We have no hostility towards werewolves and we don't suck blood out of people without their permission," he replied like a gentleman.

"Are you a royal or something? You have a very strong aura around you," I asked.

"Well, yes. In fact I am the Vampire King. I found you in my secret cave and you looked sick. So, I took you with me. By the way, what are you doing here all alone?" he asked with curiosity in his eyes.

He had pale skin and midnight black hair with grey eyes. He was tall and wore a grey t-shirt with casual black jeans.

I started to tell him everything from the beginning till the end. His calm expression turned into a scowl . He fisted his hands and punched into the wall. I looked at his hand and saw his knuckles covered in blood. I ran and grabbed his hand and asked for the first aid kit. He told me he was fine ,but finally gave up when I became stubborn for treating his injury. I slowly put the medicine on his hand and wrapped a bandage on his hand.

"Why did you had to punch the wall?" I asked annoyed about the fact he got hurt.

"I was angry. You had to go through so much pain that I wanted to kill your mate. Nobody deserves to be hurt like this. Now I will never let you go. You stay here with me. My sister is a half-witch who can tell us about your powers," he replied angrily.

"But wouldn't I be a burden on you?" I asked feeling sad.

"No, you will never be a burden to me. You are like my little sister to me," he said.

I didn't realize I was crying until Delian wiped the tears off my face. I loved the fact that I got a brother cause I always wished for an elder brother. I hugged him tightly and we chatted for a long time. I came to know that he was 29 years old and he was dating a girl. He told me that he would train me in combats and in meditation. He also promised me that he would always be there for me.

I was still weak so he decided to let me rest. Finally I can be the person who I want to be and I fell into a deep sleep.
