Jacob POV

I rushed inside the hospital ignoring the shock stares of people, they were seeing like I had grown two heads. I understand why they were so shocked. I was basically a cold-blooded beast to them.

But I am changed now. I love my beautiful mate so much that I will kill anyone who dares to hurt her.

I admit that I had a couple of hook-ups but this is different. I was cold to those s*uts who wanted to be mated for power not love.

I went inside the VIP section specially reserved for the royal members.

Selina, the best werewolf doctor hurriedly came inside the room. She was horrified seeing my mate's condition. Immediately took my mate to the ICU and the operation began.

It took four pack warriors to stop me barging into the ICU.

After 20 hours of operation,Selena came out giving me a worried look.

“She is in a very critical condition, but I am surprised how is she still living?” She said being in deep thought.

“What hell do you mean by still living?” I screamed being angry.

“I am sorry your, majesty. I didn’t mean like that,” she replied trembling.

“Just explain her problem this instant!” I exclaimed in annoyance.

I can’t be patient anymore. I need to see her beautiful smile, her love for me. I want to give her every happiness of her share in her life. I want to make up for all my stupidity towards her.

“She has been given silver, not once but several times,” She said.

“Silver! How can she handle the effect of silver! Even I can’t tolerate silver more than a minute!” I uttered in shock.

“She can handle it because she is a Lucan Perovera wolf. It makes us weak but we can handle it once in a life. As for Lily’s case she is more that a Lucan .She is a pure Lucan,” Alpha Ise said entering the cabin.

“Lily is a pure Lucan!” I exclaimed.

Selena's POV

I was packing for returning home, when my assistant came and informed that Alpha King barged into the VIP section.

I hurriedly walked there and saw him putting down a woman. She was pale looking almost dead. I wore my surgical dressing ordered to take her to the ICU.

I opened her clothes and saw that she was beaten very badly. There were several bruises on her body. I put the oxygen mask over her head, due to her low oxygen level.

I operated her and she was critical. Her reports showed that she was actually given silver! Not that she was given silver once but several times. How on earth is she still living!

I got out after the 20 hours of operating her and removing the silver from her body. She was still in life threatening condition due to her malnutrition and the effect of silver.

I got outside and saw Alpha Jacob pacing impatiently. Oh,boy! Here comes nothing.
