Chapter:9(Worry)

Selena’s POV

If anything happens to the woman inside which I suppose is his mate, then he will rip of my head.

The condition of her is very critical which can even cause her to die. Before the Alpha King could say anything I said, “She is in a very critical condition, but I am surprised how is she still living?”

OMG! I am literally gonna die now. Why the f**k did I had to say that I was surprised to see her live. She is definitely his mate and he looks like he is gonna kill me this instant.

“What hell do you mean by still living?” he screamed angrily at me.

“I am sorry your, majesty. I didn’t mean like that,” I replied trembling with fear.

“Just explain her problem this instant!” he yelled being irritated.

“She has been given silver, not once but several times,” I quickly replied hot knowing what will happen.

“Silver! How can she handle the effect of silver! Even I can’t tolerate silver more than a minute!” he gasped in shock.

“She can handle it because she is a Lucan Perovera wolf. It makes us weak but we can handle it once in a life. As for Lily’s case she is more that a Lucan .She is a pure Lucan,” Alpha Ise said entering the cabin.

Wait a minute! Did Alpha Ise just say that Lily is a pure Lucan. I have heard the stories of pure Lucans only in stories. I never expected in this life to meet a pure Lucan. Lucans are already rare and there hasn’t been any news of a new pure Lucan for hundreds of years.

Alpha Ise's POV

We went to the border of the rouge territory to get back Lily.

Jacob has been restless for two weeks. What he did was wrong, but I think he really loves her. It’s not my place to say anything in their relationship and I will support Lily in any decision she takes.

For whole two hours we fought and killed every rouge against us. My heart was racing as I couldn’t see my baby girl.

Jacob went upstairs and I heard him scream for Lily. I panicked as I thought something happened to her. My heart started beating wildly when I suddenly saw Jacob run out of the rouge house carrying my unconscious daughter. I began to run after him and he rushed to the hospital. They took her to the hospital and Marinda ,my mate came and hugged me assuring that she would be fine.

The doctor came out of the ICU and said something that stopped my heart. She was injected with silver. We can only tolerate silver once in our lives but if we are injected with it we become very weak. I remembered that Lily was a special wolf and is a true Lucan. Her ability to heal is more than any normal Lucan. We found out she was a pure Lucan when she was only 2 years old. The witch who told us about her was my old friend. He told me to keep her safe until she found her mate.

“Remember Ise she will be the cause of peace between the packs. Keep her safe until she shows her true ability,” Vader, my friend said.
