The entire day I was busy with work and ensuring that Charles was not late for his appointments. The flowers were delivered to his sister as he had instructed and when it was time for me to leave, I looked at Charles’s office and he was still working. ‘
I looked at the watch and it was already past 7 pm but he looked like he was busy working. I sighed heavily before going to knock on his door.
“Hi.” He briefly looked at me before turning back his attention to his laptop.
