“You call yourselves men and yet, you maltreat a woman here. You should all be ashamed of yourselves.” The General scolded his men before turning his furious eyes at Helen, who tried to look away, as she didn’t have the guts to face the General.
“And you…” the General growled, “…treating a fellow lady like an animal. Even if she stained your garment, it doesn’t mean you should beat her. You shall all pay for your insolence today.” He said before looking down at Aurora, who was still on the ground.
Just taking a glance at her, he walked away and didn’t even bother to speak to her or apologize on his men’s behalf. Instead, he walked away and so did the men disperse. Aurora packed her swollen face and the appliances to the kitchen.
