CHAPTER 49
In front of a large bonfire sat two people, staring straight at the fire with watery mouths. They weren’t staring at the fire, but at the huge chunk of bear meat which was hanging above the fire with the help of a huge stick. Lucas would roll it occasionally while Aurora applied some sauce to it until it was completely roasted.
The sizzling aroma made Aurora’s mouth so watery that she could barely hold herself back from cutting off a huge chunk of meat from the roasting beast. The Bear’s head was placed aside as all the organs in it were removed. Lucas loved the brains of deer, but he wanted to see what the brains of bears would be like so he ate that as a wolf.
