CHAPTER 48
Two silhouettes walked through the large plains, hand in hand. It’s been about three days since Lucas and Aurora left the kingdom and they haven’t had a good night’s sleep. Aurora for one, was extremely tired. But seeing that Lucas wasn’t exhausted, she decided to try and keep up without being a hindrance to him.
However, her legs were honest with her and they were starting to become heavy. She had a frown on her face as she struggled to keep up. Lucas looked at her and could notice the slight wrinkles on her face.
“You okay?” He asked and Aurora smiled and nodded. She did not want Lucas to notice, but the latter had already seen through her. He sighed inside and looked around him before spotting a river, about five kilometers away.
