Aurora closed the door behind her and peeped outside through the window to see if there was anyone nearby. Lily, who was still stunned as she was just suddenly dragged into Aurora’s house, wondered what could be bothering Aurora to make her this cautious.
She sat on a chair near the fireplace and gave Aurora a confused look as she went about, closing the curtains.
“What’s going on, Aurora? You seem… restless.” She asked but the latter didn’t answer her immediately. She made sure to finish everything and make sure that nobody could spy or eavesdrop or see them.
After various sorts of security checks and all, she finally sighed and sat in front of Lily. Her pregnant friend was still confused, but she knew that Aurora would still tell her what was going on.
