CHAPTER 18
It was evening time and the sun’s beauty was starting to show. Even in Lucas’s dungeon, he could still enjoy the beauty of the sunset. Although his dungeon was underground, there was a small window that allowed him to see the sun. This was because the Blood Moon kingdom was on a cliff, so his cell was close to the side of the cliff. A window there allowed him to see the sunset, but not much of the sunrise.
He stood in front of the window but he was lost in thought. Before, he never really gave this much thought, as he was ready to even die. Now that he was given a mate, he saw this as a reason to live. He closed his eyes and all the bad memories began to flow. The words of his mentor and father flowed into his mind.
