CHAPTER 47
In the office, Jayden seems quite depressed as he is lost in thought. He sat on his chair with his elbow resting on his desk. His eyes weren’t friendly at all, and Beta would feel like he or she was about to be devoured by looking directly into those eyes.
‘…Doesn’t love me huh?’ he thought as he recalled last night's events. On his desk were lots of papers. He should’ve attended the meeting between the high table members but he wasn’t in much of a mood to.
As the Alpha supreme, the meeting can’t hold without his presence, as that would be like overriding his rule. The image of Lucas flashed through his thoughts and he felt extreme rage. At the same time, he was sad. He couldn’t blame Lucas, but at the same time, he needed to blame someone.
