Chapter Two: Run after her

Violet's thoughts were interrupted by the car coming to an abrupt halt. The door opened, and she stepped out, gazing up at the grand mansion that would be her new home. The name "NATHAN BROWN" was etched on the front door, and she whispered it to herself, her heart racing. Led by a bodyguard, she took her first step into the house, her heart heavy with uncertainty.

Meanwhile, at the Evercrest Group's 19th-floor office, Nathan Brown, the enigmatic bachelor, sat at his desk, his expression stoic and emotionless. He signed documents with precision, his mind elsewhere. When his assistant, Benjamin, pointed out a mistake, Nathan's brow furrowed, and he dropped the file, his thoughts cloudy. He closed his eyes, seeking a moment's peace, and ordered Benjamin to fetch him a coffee.

The man beside him stared at him in shock, he hesitated before speaking, "Sir, that's not where to put the signature."

Nathan raised his brow when he saw that he was right, he dropped the file on the table making the sound 'thud'. He wondered why his mind didn't seem to cooperate with him today.

He closed his eyes to get to rest, he spoke to his assistant coldly, "Get me a coffee, Benjamin."

Benjamin left the office in a rush to carry out the order given to him.

As Benjamin left, Nathan's mind wandered back to the previous night's events. He had been drugged and seduced by a mysterious woman, and the memory haunted him

Nathan Brown was dressed handsomely in his brown Suit with his blazer. He was engaged in a serious talk with one of his businessmen when his brother approached him with a drink. He didn't want to accept it but he had to do so because he was not alone. He took it and sipped out of it, he gave it back but his brother didn't accept it from him.

Some minutes after having the whole drink he started feeling uncomfortable and some reaction within himself. Hevescuwed himself and left, he wanted to go to a quiet place. At that moment his brother approached him and told him to go to the bathroom, he was not thinking straight at that time so he followed his brother to the room.

Nathan entered the room and sat on the couch, he didn't have time to turn on the light. He was feeling weird and his whole body was hot as if he had been drugged. But his brain was not working at that moment, he gulped down a large glass of water but he wasn't helping. He removed his clothes and went to the bed, he laid on the bed trying to sleep but the feeling he was getting wouldn't allow him.

When he was busy fighting the battle, he heard the door open, he covered himself and stood up in a rush. Though the light was turned off, he could see the beautiful figure walking to the door. He lost his sense of reasoning, the only thing on his mind was to have her. He pulled her soft milk hand, he felt some pleasure within him.

"Please," this was the first time Nathabhad ever pleaded for something he wanted. He couldn't resist the lady in front of him though he couldn't see her face, the body was enough to speak about her face. He was able to explore the body on the bed, he didn't know that the lady would submit so easily.

The next day.

Nathan grunted as he jolted up, the morning sun was bright and shiny. He rubbed his head and turned his neck to the other side only to see a half-n***d lady beside him. He was stumped at first but the scene of yesterday replayed in his brain, he clenched his fist and ran to the bathroom.

The only thing in his head at that moment was to get ready quickly and go to the hospital. He could see a stain of blood on the bed sheet so he was well aware of what happened the night before.

He washed himself clean before coming out of the bathroom. By the time he came out, the last was nowhere to be found. He was curious, he searched the whole bedroom to check if she was hiding but she wasn't. Nathan felt some kind of admiration for her, he knew that he had taken her chastity and the evidence was lying there on the bed.

He got dressed and then called his assistant to home pick him up from the hotel. Some minutes later the door of the bedroom opened and Benjamij came in.

He bowed, "Good Morning."

Nathan was in a bad mood ever since when he found out that the lady wasn't in the room anymore. He raised his head and the temperature of the room dropped to some degree, "Find the lady."

Some words don't need to be spoken, Benjamin has been working for Nathan Brown for almost all his life so he understands him well enough.

Nathan stood up to his full height, he strode out of the room in his long leg. Benjamin was following carefully behind him, he opened the four of the car. Nathan got inside then Benhaminckised the door and went to the front seat to drive.

"To the hospital."

The car stopped in front of the hospital, Benjamin got out of the car and opened the door for Nathan. Nathan went into the hospital with his long straight leg, all eyes were on him immediately after he stepped into the hospital. He was familiar with the hospital setting, he went directly to his doctor's cabin. He entered the cabin without knocking on the door. He does not want to know if he was there with anyone, he wants to get his result quickly, and he wants to be on the safe side.

The doctor stood up immediately when he saw who came inside, he struggled to smile, "To what do I owe this visit?"

Nathan sat down and crossed his legs over one another, "I want you to test me free of any disease."

The doctor gave him a puzzled look, "What's that."

"I was drugged then I slept with a stranger," he made his words short, simple, and understandable.

The doctor stood up and walked to him with a syringe, he wanted to extract some of his blood to get it tested. He knew that Nathan would never allow any female nurse to touch him so he had to do it himself. He sent the blood to the Lab to be tested.

Nathan waited till the result was out, and the doctor took the result from the nurse. He removed it from the envelope and then took his time to study it. When he was done reading the result he stared at it with shock. It was written on his face that what he saw wasn't something simple, he didn't know how he would break it down to Nathan so that he wouldn't get annoyed.
