Edward, wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth and asked in his gentlemanly voice, “What are you doing?”
“What am I doing? ... I’m doing what every man in this world would do,” Marco explained, “I have not signed in the documents of our divorce agreement yet. So, she is still me wife!”
Edward realized through his claims that Marco wasn’t in his right mind. So, he tried to walk away, but Marco stopped him and said, “You know very well what she meant to me, and you must have been aware that I would have been searching for her because I love her. Yet, you dared to secretly take her all the way to London.”
Edward looked away while stroking his hairs and glared at his wristwatch as he let out, “It’s already so late. Let me go! Unlike you. I have work to do.”
