Chapter 6 - Too Bold

Laurene was currently turning around her chair in her office, the four meetings just finished and it was all about the partnership. She just came to visit her music company and it's all doing well, there are new artists and she also judged some new songs that her artist made.

She also visits the restaurants and hotels surprisingly all the employees were thrilled to see her, they even told her how much they missed her. Laurene was a really sweet boss they always give them the things that they need whenever one of her employees had some problems. She also hired some new workers in the restaurant and hotel since she will be planning to extend everything soon.

And here she is now so bored and she just called her friends they were all busy and Gabbie is with her girlfriend. She opened her phone and she looks at the picture that Daeun sent to her a while ago. It was a picture of Jennie gardening with the help of Dowon and Dohyun. Of course, Laurene found it hot since Jennie is just wearing a fitted shirt and I guess Daeun let her borrow some of her gym shorts. Jennie's abs were visible because of the sweat.

Laurene isn't a p*****t but it really turns her on when she saw some abs most especially if it is so toned that it makes her mouth water but speaking of things like that Laurene still has her V card and there's no way she'll try the one night stand and she wanted to save this for her future but now is she willing to...give it?

Laurene was still looking at the picture when

"Yeah, Yeah Jennie is hot" Laurene jumped and saw her bodyguard grinning at her

"You scared me," Laurene said holding her chest "Don't do that. Jeez, my heart is beating fast?" She said

"Oh for Jennie?" William the bodyguard asked teasingly

"Ye-- what? I mean No" Laurene said causing the bodyguard to chuckle "Aish, what are you doing here anyway?" She asked

The bodyguard shook her head while smiling and gave Laurene the bouquet of flowers "Uh? Thank you for the flowers?" Laurene said confused

"Your wife told me to buy one, she said she's sorry for forgetting to update you last night she was busy helping Dowon and your brother" Laurene couldn't help but blush while William is looking at her because she looks like a tomato

"You can smile you know also you look like a tomato," William said teasingly he really likes teasing her boss, they are just like brothers and sisters. Romel is also close with her since then they were Laurene's personal bodyguard when she was twenty - years old.

"Aish, William just leave and eat your lunch with Romel. I'm sure he's already waiting for you" Laurene said trying to hide her face

William giggled "Whatever you say, boss. Just give me a call if you are already planning to leave" Laurene hummed while fixing the flowers smiling. William left and Laurene just smiled brightly and smelled the flowers it was Sunflowers and Roses her favorite. She was about to throw Jennie a text when she suddenly received one from her.

My Wifey:

Did you receive it?

Laurene:

I did, Thank you. You didn't have to tho

My Wifey:

No, I had to. I really feel guilty for not even updating you yesterday.

Laurene:

It's fine, Mom told me everything last night. Did you just wake up? How are you?

My Wifey:

I'm doing okay Wifey, did you wait for my text last night?

Laurene smiled

Laurene:

I did

My Wifey:

Oh, so you're waiting for my texts huh? ? Don't worry Wifey. I'll update you from time to time so you don't have to think too much

Laurene can't help but chuckle, she couldn't believe that Jennie can be this bold.

Laurene:

Don't be such a full of yourself. I just want to look after you is that bad? ☹️

My Wifey:

Awww, so My Wifey really cares for me that much? Don't worry I will do better for now.

Laurene:

Aish, stop it now and get ready for work. I need to sign some papers. I'll talk to you later Nini.

My Wifey:

Okay okay, I'll get ready and throw you a text later. Have fun!

Laurene is blushing hard she couldn't believe the texts, Jennie was so bold that she didn't even realize that she was smiling from ear to ear already and she's chuckling. She thought Jennie was a cold person because of her picture but she was wrong, Jennie is very bold and a flirt.

She sighed and looked at the flower and smelled it again. She leaned in her chair while smiling and hugged the flowers. As of now, she feels like she was being loved by someone truly even though it's just been two days since they got married. 

Jennie, on the other hand, was currently smiling and squealing non-stop, she can't believe Laurene didn't fin it weird when she calls her Wifey she was really nervous at first when she was sent it to her but to her surprise she just slide it off. It seems like everything is doing really well making her wife very comfortable around her. 

Jennie just threw a text to her wife saying that she was already about to go to the studio for recording. She decided to take her mustang out for now when she was about to enter her car Jiyong called her out coming out from the door. 

"You need something Dad?" Jennie asked while eyeing her Dad 

"Yeah, I called your professional Architect and Engineer. He told me that once you find the right place to build the house you need to show them the house" Jennie nodded, her Dad is an Architect he's a friend with them both and also he was the blood and the head of everything. Jennie really doesn't have any problem with it since her dad was there to help "Do you already have a copy of the house?" Jiyong asked 

"I do, I'll just get it from my trunk" Jennie opened her trunk and saw the two rolled tracing paper. she handed it to Jiyong and her Dad takes a good look at it "I see she likes everything in glass, Laurene likes modern houses like your Mom. But, why is there a space?" Jiyong asked curiously 

"I'm gonna be deciding in that part, do you know what can I add in there? You know what I like right?" Jiyong nodded and smiled 

"Alright, I work on this. You're going in the studio?" Jiyong asked as Jennie nodded "Alright, I'll see you later"

"Okay Dad" Jennie entered the car and left. Jiyong sigh Jennie is already a grown-up and soon enough she will be leaving in the house soon. Her first child was already married and have a kid and his princess and bro Jennie is getting there. It was an arranged marriage and Jiyong could see how in love Jennie is. He went inside with a sigh. 

Jennie was currently driving when her phone rang, she looks at it and it was Dohyun she was confused so she answered it "Dohyun?"

"Noona, I've researched a private property in Gangman and there was a lot," Dohyun said happily. Jennie smiled Dohyun is such a great kid, she also realized yesterday how much he loves her both siblings even though Laurene is just his half-sister he and Daeun already adore her. 

"Okay, just send me everything. I'll take a look at it and ask my Dad" Jennie said while parking she just arrived at the company. Dohyun hummed and said goodbye. Jennie stayed a bit in the car and fix herself her phone vibrates and she smiled when Laurene sent her a text. 

Laurene (My Wife): 

have you arrived? My fourth meeting just finished. 

Jennie:

Yes, I already did. Are you tired? You should rest and lean your back at your chair first Wifey

Laurene (My Wifey): 

You really like calling me Wifey huh?

Jennie smiled and bumped her head at the chair of her car due to her happiness she couldn't squeal because it will surely echo on the parking lot. 

My Wifey:

Does it sound bad? What do you like me to call you then? love? baby? babe? honeybunch? sweetheart? sweety?

Laurene on the other hand was already blushing like a mess. She was already in the car on the way to visit her Dad. She was holding her smile because for sure William and Romel will tease her if they saw it in the mirror. She felt butterflies in her stomach.

Laurene (My Wife):

Hmmm, is that the endearment that you call to all your side chick? 

Of course, it was just a joke but she wanted to see what her wife will say. 

Jennie was laughing at her reply, it seems like someday soon Laurene will be the possessive and jealous type. Of course, she knew it was a joke but she was already imagining Laurene's pout when she says yes. She doesn't want her wife to think that she has some side chick. She wants her to feel that she's the only woman in her heart, mind, and life. 

My Wifey:

What? What are you saying? Of course not, why would I have a side chick if you were already my hot chick and became my wife?

Laurene blushed and covered her mouth she couldn't help but smile and squeal. She doesn't know if Jennie is just playing around or she really means it. But, everything felt so real right now. 

Laurene (My Wife):

Is that so? Prove it to me then 

Jennie smiled and got out of her car 

My Wifey:

Oh, I will, Honey just wait. 

Laurene (My Wife):

Let's see then Honey. 

My Wifey:

I see that you already wanted that endearment

Laurene (My Wifey):

Oh, I do. Anyway, I'm at the cemetery already. Do your work first. 

My Wifey:

Okay then tell Daddy I say Hi. 

Laurene chuckled. Jennie is really bold and she's liking it. She has so much confidence that she looks for in the person, she was straight to the point not shying out. All her employees taught her that she really likes everything to be quick when it comes to working but when it comes to love seems like she wants to feel all the moments. 

Laurene sighed and get out of the car, she walked first while her two bodyguards are behind her holding the flowers. She opened the door where her Dad tomb was. It was a private and restricted area since all of Ben's luxuries belongings are displayed. A lot of his fans come here to leave some flowers and some gifts. Just Ben's family members can come in even Leslie's family. There was a guard that was looking out of the property. Laurene wiped the frame of Ben's photo. She smiled. 

"I miss you so much Daddy," Laurene said wiping the frame, she put it on the frame stand and went to the tomb to put the flowers, It was cleaned, Laurene hired some trusted people to clean it every week. There was also a hidden CCTV around if someone tries to steal something they will easily get caught. Of course, it was Ben's belonging Laurene wouldn't allow being touched and stolen by everyone. 

Laurene removed the flowers that were dried, her Aunt told her that she just visited last week. "How are you doing up there? I hope you're doing alright" Laurene said sitting down beside the tomb she traced her Dad's name and put her knees to her chest and rest her chin in her knees. A tear just escaped from her eyes. She really missed her Dad so much, there are still some times that she just cries alone in the bathroom and begging to bring her father back, everything just feels like it was a dream and she just wanted to wake up and hug her Dad but she knows that this isn't a dream but it was reality. She just needs to accept everything. 

"I fulfilled your wish. Are you happy Daddy? I did it also for Mommy. Jennie also says Hi by the way" Laurene chuckled sadly while still tracing the name of her Dad "I hope you showed me the right path of my life, I hope I made the right decision marrying that person but I know you will never put me something that will harm me but, to be honest, I really don't trust this for now. I still need some assurance at everything. I really need to know if she really is the one" The CEO said wiping her tears 

"I love you so much, I hope you're looking at me from above, I hope you're protecting me and guiding me at everything because everything is going well at the moment. God, I miss your pranks and jokes" Laurene laugh sadly she wanted her Dad's laugh and voice again, the voice that makes her calm and safe. A father's love really is something else especially when he was there with you in the first place. 

"Do you remember when we talked about my life when I get married? I told you that I want you there with my spouse when I'm giving birth to my first baby, you also told me that to name my baby Jayden if it is a boy and if it is a girl her name should be Layla I want my baby to feel that you are his/her grandfather and I want you there to see when my baby says his first words and see him/her walk on his own. I want you to be with my spouse being the best buddies but this isn't going to happen because you're already with God. I just hope you are really watching from above and protecting me" Laurene said crying her heart out, her two bodyguards were rubbing her back, of course, they could feel her boss's sadness. They are really good people and Larene really adores them. 

The three stayed there for a good one hour, they are just eating in that place and Laurene is talking to William and Romel and both bodyguards are trying to cheer her up. Laurene of course really appreciates it, she is just lucky because she has a lot of good people surrounding her there's no way she will let them go. Laurene stood upon and said goodbye to her father, she also kissed the tomb and left. 

She was already in the car and she texted Jennie that she was on her way home. She also decided to scroll on i********:, she saw a post that Jennie just posted it was a picture of her that it is surely taken hours ago. Laurene was looking at her, she couldn't lie Jennie was gorgeous and hot at the same time. She feels like she was the luckiest girl in the world that she is married to a famous idol and soon-to-be CEO. She talked to Chaerin last night and told about Jennie will handle the company soon while Chaerin will be the president. Laurene sighed and decided to like the post. She also saw some familiar usernames, She decided to stalk it and she realized that it was all a fan account some of them were also her fans, she smiled because some of Jennie's fans is also a fan of her. She followed Jennie's member back she didn't realize that she followed her even before the wedding. She closed her phone and look at the window. 

'Jeez, I should really check my social media often' Laurene said to her mind 

Jennie, on the other hand, was already on her laptop and looking at the private property that Dohyun sent her, she had already thrown a text to Laurene and her wife told her that she will rest since she has a photoshoot for tomorrow. She even asked her to send some pictures which Laurene oblige and her wife know that she deserves to see it. 

"Hey Jenjen, here's your coffee," Lisa said coming in with Roseanne Jennie just hummed while scrolling through the pictures and information "You seem busy, whatchu doing?" Roseanne asked peeking together with  Lisa "A private property? Are you planning to build a new house?" Lisa asked sitting across Jennie

"No," Jennie said sipping her coffee "Dohyun sent me this for me and Laurene's house" Lisa and Roseanne looked at each other shocked they can't believe Jennie is already looking for one. 

"Isn't it too early for that?" Lisa asked taking a bite of her sandwich "I mean you both should live in the penthouse first and see how's your marriage will go" Roseanne agreed while cutting the dessert

"It's actually my plan to build the house already and I know this marriage will never reach to divorce" Jennie leaned in the chair and stretched while Roseanne raised her brows

"How could you say so?" The Aussie accent asked 

"It's because I love Laurene so much that I'm willing to give everything to her, even my soul. Think of it, Laurene doesn't want to hear the word divorce or doesn't even want to do it. She really wants to have a complete family and a person who would stay with her until the end. Mommy told me that she knew Laurene was still mad about it and I promised them...never in a million years that I will leave and hurt their daughter because she's the girl that I want to be with until the very end. I promise myself that I will make her fall in love with me and show her how much I love her" Lisa and Roseanne couldn't help but smile they really felt that Jennie was getting serious all about the marriage and they really could tell that she was indeed in love with her wife and determined to win her heart. 

"We're happy for you," Lisa said causing Jennie to smile as both idols continue to ask some questions to Jennie regarding the house and even ask her if they could sometimes which Jennie agreed since she surely needs their opinion. The day ended and it was already eleven in the evening in Korea. Jennie just got home since her members also practiced their dance. She came inside the kitchen and was surprised to see his brother Kai and her sister-in-law, Krystal. 

Jennie decided to look at them from afar admiring how truly in love they are. She doesn't feel envy but she hopes that someday soon this will also happen to her and Laurene. Her brother seems so in love with her wife while her wife is also in love, she knew that they will grow old together. The way Kai handles his family is just like how her Dad handles them and she promised that someday soon she will handle Laurene and her future kids soon. 

Jennie was just about to come upstairs when she felt a tug on her sweatshirt. She saw Junwa standing and looking at her sleepily the idol kneel down and comb his hair who already was on her shoulder "Why are you awake buddy?" She asked and carried him. 

"I heard your car and I wanted to see you" Jennie smiled Junwa was like her son. Junwa was his first nephew and ever since then Jennie was so close with him, she really likes kids and adores them. 

"Okay buddy, you're sleepy. I'll tuck you in bed alright?" The boy nodded sleepily and hugged Jennie tightly while the idol didn't want to disturb the two lovely married couple because they are having their own moments. Jennie came inside Junwa's room and lay him down covering him with his favorite blanket. Junwa smiled lazily and Jennie kissed his forehead 

"You should sleep," Jennie said looking at the boy

"Can I ask you some questions first?" Jennie sighed she knew Junwa is really begging sometimes and will get mad at her if she didn't give him the chance to get what he wants 

"Okay, what is it?" Jennie asked while looking at the boy 

"Is Auntie Laurene kind?" The boy asked curiously causing Jennie to smile "I really want to be close with her she seems so sweet" 

"Oh, she is buddy. When she got home how about you and your Mom and Dad visit the penthouse? I'm sure she'll be glad to see you" Jennie said causing Junwa to smile brightly 

"Does she like kids like me?" He asked curiously causing Jennie to nod smiling "Oh, we will be friends soon. Do you love her?" 

" I love her so much buddy but she doesn't know" Junwa furrowed his brows,  Jennie sigh she knew she needed to explain it "It was just an Arranged Marriage buddy, she completely doesn't know me and she doesn't want to in the first place but good thing she did right?" Jennie asked looking at the boy nodding "I'm making her fall in love with me because I want to be with her for the rest of my life, I want to build a family with her and you know make some memories with her and give you the cousin that you like and want" Junwa's eyes brighten 

"I'm sure she will love you back Aunt Jenjen. love is possible if you work hard on it and show the person that you really love her" Junwa said rubbing his eyes tiredly and yawning. Jennie shook her head and kissed Junwa's forehead "Go to sleep. Goodnight buddy" Junwa nodded and made his way to his dreamland. 

Jennie stood up and close the light as she opened the door looking at Junwa for the last time 'love is possible if you work hard on it and show the person that you love her'  Jennie smiled 'What a smart kid he is' Jennie close the door and went to her room. She took her phone out and lay on the bed, she instantly smiled since Laurene texted her. 

Laurene (My Wifey):

Hey, I just woke up and I'm on my way to the studio. Are you asleep?

My Wifey:

I'm not yet asleep, have you eaten?

Laurene (My Wife);

Why are you not asleep yet? I already did have you?

My Wifey:

I did and I can't sleep because I'm thinking about you and I miss you 

Jennie smiled and closed her eyes

Laurene on the other hand scoffed but smiled 

My Wifey:

Oh really? What do you need so you can sleep?

Laurene (My Wifey):

At least send me a selfie? I really miss seeing your gorgeous face. 

Laurene blushed and scrolled to her gallery good thing she took a selfie a while ago she was about to send it but decided to tease Jennie. 

My Wifey:

Just scroll through my i********: 

Laurene (My Wifey):

No :((, that's not enough I want to see you right now and admire you. 

Once again Laurene is blushing like a tomato and bit her lip

My Wifey:

But, I will send you all my photoshoots can't you wait?

Laurene (My Wife): 

[voice message]: Nooo hoooney, you know how bad I want to see you please send me some. I really can't sleep, I need to see you before your photo shoot. 

Lauren can't help but chuckle and coo, Jennie was whining she sounds like a kid that wanted to buy some toys but couldn't. She really likes Jennie's voice since she listened to all her wife's songs in her office yesterday and even went to watch all the dances of course she found so Jennie talented and hot. 

My Wifey:

Can you whine more? You sound so cute

Jennie giggled and shook her head wanting to give her the best whine ever so she did. Even sending her a selfie with puppy eyes and pouty lips. 

Laurene couldn't help but coo and to be honest, she wanted to pinch her cheeks. She replayed the wine again because it was the best one yet, she even saved Jennie's picture. She finally gave up and send the picture, she was supposed to post it on i********:. 

Laurene (My Wifey): 

YoOOoOooO LoooOOoOoOOoK SooOoOOoOo PreEeeEeEEty Wifey My Wifey:

I was supposed to post that on i********:. You're such a lucky fan you get to see it first. 

Laurene (My Wifey):

I should really be the one to see it first and hey no I'm not your fan, I'm your biggest fan and I get so lucky because you're my Wifey.

Of course, Jennie again is being so bold. Everything is serious right now she really wanted to feel that she is indeed in love with her. 

Laurene was smiling and biting her lips. There's this urge of her that she wanted to hug Jennie, she's making her smile but of course, she still didn't know if she's serious but she's hoping it is. She's slowly getting comfortable towards ger since they were throwing texts throughout the day and one thing is for sure she really enjoys her wife's boldness. 

My Wifey:

Oh really? How should I know then?

Laurene (My Wifey):

I told you, Honey, I will show you. 

Laurene shook her head and smiled, she realized that they arrived already she looked at the window and there are a lot of fans waiting for her outside. 

My Wifey:

Okay, then Honey. You should sleep, I just actually arrived at the venue. I'll text you after. Goodnight Nini. 

Laurene (My Wifey):

Okay!!! You will do great today.

Laurene smiled and sent her a heart emoji. She wears her sunglasses and face mask. There were a lot of photographers and she's trying her best to hide the ring on her fingers. Until now, she wanted to make everything private knowing she's getting more famous and Jennie is also an idol. She still wanted to breathe properly and get out of the media in her marriage life. She also doesn't want Jennie to have more headaches since she knew there are also hateful comments that her wife is receiving. They will just talk about this when she got back from Korea. 

She came to hop out of the car and some fans instantly greeted her and someone handed her a dumpling stuffed toy. She thanked the fan and gave her a photograph. Her left hand was hidden in her pocket and trying he best not to take it out because if this was already shown in the news for sure a lot of people will talk about it and some paparazzi will come to the house waiting for her to come out and ask her some questions about the ring. 

After she said high to a couple of her fans she instantly went inside the venue and greeted all the staff. She realized that there are new faces and new employees. The old employees were also her Dad's that's why Laurene was very close to them. She quickly went straight to the makeup artist and do her make-up while scrolling to i********: and stalking Jennie. She looked at the dumpling that her fan gave her and she instantly chuckled when she saw Jennie's cheek. She will absolutely tease her soon. 

Jennie just woke up and it was already nine in the morning she instantly receive a ton of messages from Laurene. She instantly opened it knowing it was her pictures. She instantly melted, she looks so hot, so beautiful, and the cutest. Laurene is just like an angel that came down from heaven and she wanted to thank heaven because she directly married the girl. 'How lucky I am to get to have you and be my wife. You're just so pretty my love' Jennie said to her mind. She was already looking at Laurene's close-up. 

'Those lips that I tasted at our wedding I'm still longing for it' Jennie said looking at it. she sat up from her bed and texted Laurene 

Laurene (My Wifey):

You look so Gorgeous Honey, I saved all the pictures to my Gallery. I just woke up by the way 

My Wifey:

Good Morning, awh that's cuteeee. Thank you. You should eat your breakfast and get ready for work. Please update me.

Jennie smiled, Laurene really is wife material. By just telling her that she needs to get ready for work hits different it feels like Laurene really looks out for her.

'I will win you'  Jennie smiled and kissed Laurene's picture.
