Chapter 14

"So, you're kicking me out of the house?" Jennie asked her wife in disbelief. Laurene was twenty-two weeks pregnant already, her tummy is much bigger.

In the past few months, Laurene finally took a leave in her company while Jennie already finished all the promotions and things to be needed to do. It was so hard handling Laurene nowadays she has been moody and now Jennie is dealing with it.

"Yeah, go out. I'm not in the mood" Laurene grumbled while Jennie sigh she took her jacket since it was so cold outside. She was supposed to kiss her wife on the cheeks but she turned her to the side causing Jennie to groan.

"Babe please, I need to kiss you" Laurene just groaned and looked at her deeply causing Jennie to gulp

"O-okay, fine. I'm gonna leave" Jennie quickly left. She went inside her car and sigh.

It was really hard when this happens she usually just stay in the car and wait for her wife to call her asking her to get back in her arms but she usually calls after two hours. So, she decided to drive to Lisa and Jieun's house.

"So, you're telling me that your wife kicked you out of the house since she has been moody?" Lisa said sitting down on the couch.

"Well, Yes" Jennie sighs "I don't even understand why a pregnant woman is so moody. I can't even kiss her when she told me to leave"

Lisa shook her head "I'm thankful that Jieun isn't like that. She usually just clings to me"

It was already confirmed that Jieun was expecting a baby. Laurene's friends were so happy so is Lisa's members.

Just then, Jieun came out from the kitchen and she already have a baby bump. She was confused seeing Jennie at this time "Jen, you're early today and where's Laurene?" Jieun asked curiously

"Well...she kicked me out of the house because of her you know mood swings" Jieun chuckled and shake her head

"That girl," She said while handing Lisa some hot chocolate and sitting beside he

"Wait, I remembered that you both will leave in two, days," Lisa asked resting her hand on her wife's thighs.

Finally, they are gonna be leaving, and Jennie already explained everything to the fans so is the girl. There were a lot of positive comments and some are sad but she promised that someday soon they will be together again and make some songs and they also ended their contract already wherein Jennie will be starting to work on Laurene's company in Los Angeles and manage her business with the help of Suzy and Laurene of course.

Laurene knew she could trust her wife, she is her other half and she finally finalized and confirmed that all of her business will be also for Jennie. It was also her Dad's wish that they will share and will both manage the company.

"Well yeah. Laurene has been very stoked about it since a lot of fans have been following us when we're always shopping in here" Jennie muttered, it is also true Laurene and Jennie have always been followed everywhere which sometimes Laurene is getting annoyed by it so is Jennie.

"Well, I guess we'll just see each other when we decided to visit Paris?" Jennie smiled when Lisa said that. She will surely miss her members and miss all the memories and hard work that they accomplished.

"Yeah for sure, Laurene will be mad if you guys didn't visit. You know how close she is to all of you" Lisa and Jieun chuckled in the past few months they have been hanging out together often knowing Jieun is pregnant, sometimes Suzy and Roseanne visit while Jisoo sometimes hangs out at the married couples house.

Jennie stayed there for a good fifty minutes, they are talking about Dohyun's achievement in winning the dance competition. Laurene was so delighted that she bought him an automobile he was so shocked and wanted to give it back but Laurene told her that just to keep it since he will soon be in the legal age.

Jennie accompanied him by getting the driver's license together with Kai. While Laurene managed to help Daeun and her members with their first-ever photoshoot since they will be the ambassador of a luxury clothing style.

Jennie was laughing with Lisa when her phone rang, she quickly looked at it and she got confused since it was her wife she smirked and answered it "You need something?" She instantly asked

"Go back home please, I miss you so much," Laurene said with a sad complexion, Jennie can't help but smile since she could feel her wife's pout that she just wanted to kiss to make it go away.

"Okay baby, I'm on my way. I'll be there in ten minutes. Do you want me to buy some subways?" Jennie asked looking at Lisa mouthing her that she needs to leave. Lisa gave her thumbs and said goodbye while Jennie left already.

"Yes please and oh if you don't mind can you also buy some ice cream? Our baby wants it" Jennie chuckled coming in her car and starting the engine

"Alright, how about I'll just buy the things that we need before we leave in this country. I will buy some ice cream just for two days and I promise you when we arrived in Los Angeles we will buy a bucket of it okay?" Jennie tried to convince her, she doesn't want the ice cream to just be left in the fridge knowing they will be gone for a year.

"Okay, I'll list the things that we need. I'll hang this up so I can send it to you. I love you" Laurene said

"Okay Honey. I love you too" Laurene hung up the call as Jennie shook her head and chuckled. She likes this side of her wife being the cute little woman she is. Jennie instantly went straight to the groceries while she also texted her two bodyguards since she also need to be guarded.

She patiently waited in her car and Laurene finally texted the things that they will bring it was a lot especially chips and sweets. Jennie wouldn't complain since she loves her wife so much. When her bodyguard finally arrived she quickly get out of the car and went to the grocery store.

Laurene on the other hand was starting to recheck all the clothes and things that they needed to bring. She also fixed Kuma's pet passport so he could instantly be with them while Lei and Liz are already settled.

She went inside their walk-in closet and found some boxes she got curious and confused so she took them out slowly. She sat on the floor and thought if she will open it or not she was thinking that maybe this was all Jennie's important stuff that was a bit private and she was also thinking that it may invade her privacy stuff but she was curious. The dogs went inside the walk-in closet checking if the pregnant woman is doing alright. Kuma instantly sat in Laurene's lap while the two Dobermans sat across her.

Laurene sigh and opened the box, she was surprised to see a ton of papers more on like letters she was thinking that maybe it's from her fans but one photo caught her attention because it was familiar. She slowly took it out and to her surprise it was her. It was a portrait photo of her that was taken when she was doing a runaway. She got curious why in the world Jennie has a copy of it but she ended up smiling.

She explored the box more and there were a ton of pictures of her it was all from i********: and her photoshoots. It wasn't the original copy but it seems like Jennie printed all of them in the photo paper.

She decided to read the letters since she got curious about what her fans were saying to her but to her surprise, she recognized the handwriting it was Jennie's. It was a letter for her. It was written one year ago.

Jennie told her that she has a huge crush on her, she's willing to do everything for her, and she inspires and motivates her to work harder so she could finally be recognized or even meet her personally. She also told that she already reached the top wherein she was already the global ambassador of Chanel and faith isn't giving her the chance to see her personally. She also explained that she was really in love with her and wanted to court and be with her someday.

Laurene was blushing since she didn't see just one letter but a ton of it, she read all of it mostly telling how much her day was going. She was curious why Jennie didn't have the chance to send this to her since a lot of her fans are sending her some cute messages.

"I bet you already found my last secret" Laurene jumped and got shocked seeing Jennie standing in the doorway of the walk-in closet

"I-I'm sorry, I-I was curious what's in the box so I decided to take a look" Jennie shook her head and sat beside her wife while Lei and Liz hugged both of the Korean's legs.

"It's fine, you deserve to know that though. I've been keeping that for so long," she said taking out some pictures and looking at it.

"I thought these letters are from your fans but to my surprise, it was written by you and it was for me," Laurene said looking at her wife blushing "Come on J. Don't blush right now. We just confessed our love to each other and even gonna have a baby soon" Jennie chuckled

"Well, I'm sorry Mrs. Kim. But it's just that that's been so long and it's kind of embarrassing since all my words are so cheesy" She said looking at her wife

"Well yeah it's cheesy but I like it. You need to tell me the reason why didn't you get the chance to send this to me" Laurene said while patting Kuma's head and belly

"It's because I don't have time to send it because I had a lot of schedules and you know comebacks. I was deciding to send it when my schedule ended and it saddens me that your mail was already closed and not already accepting some letters since it was already loaded. So, I decided to write and write until the mail open again but to my surprise, you came here to Korea and you know we got married"

"So, ever since then you adored me?" Jennie nodded slowly. Laurene smiled and cup Jennie's cheeks "You are certainly my charming wife huh?"

Jennie smirks, confidence-building up again "I am, I should be only your charming wife" Jennie winked cutely causing Laurene to laugh

"Is that so?" Laurene asked teasingly "show me?" She smirked

"Oh, baby I will give you a show" Jennie winked and stood up. She removed her shirt causing Laurene to gulp Jennie smirked and walk closer to her and the Korean bend down a bit wherein her face is just an inch closer to the CEO while Laurene was just looking at her eyes to her lips.

She doesn't know what Jennie will do but she's ready for it. It didn't take long before the Koreans started showing some cute and puppy faces causing Laurene to die in laughter and taking some pictures. The Korean also danced cutely to her new song wherein Laurene adores a lot. She took everything and wanted to save the memories to her phone.

The night was ended up laughing, showing off, cuddling, teasing each other, and playing with the dogs. They also ordered take-out since Laurene was so lazy to cook and her body feels so heavy.

On the remaining day, Jennie and Laurene spend their time with their family and Jennie's best friends. They decided to have a lunch date and ended up going home late at night. For sure, Jennie will miss them but she also wanted to try what it's like living in a different country. But, the best thing about this is she will have her wife with her. The girl that she has been wanting and dreaming of and someday soon there would be a little Kim running around their house. Jennie might be sad leaving her family but she also needs to think that she's doing this because she wanted to keep her wife safe and build a family together.

It was the day wherein they would leave. Jiyong and Kai were helping Jennie to put all the luggage in the van once it was complete she closed the trunk "Well, I guess this is the last day" Her Dad said while Kai lean his body in the trunk. Jennie looked at him and sighs

"Well, It is. But, just so you know you and Mom will need to visit Paris when your Grandson comes out" Jennie muttered

"Yeah, we do, but you know the fact that you're leaving us while your wife is pregnant is pretty sad" Kai agreed "but we understand all your reason and situations. It's also gonna be good for Laurene and your future newborn" she nodded "But Jen, even though you're in love with her so much you still have to promise me that you're not gonna hurt her. You know we like her for you and she was certainly taking care and looking after you ever since you both got married"

"Dad, you know you and Mom were the ones who raised me so is you raised Kai to look at how he handles her wife and is honest with her. But, you have to trust me since yes I am so in love with her and then again I'm never gonna leave her because she's the girl that I want to be with for the rest of my life and nothing's gonna change that. I just really wanted to thank you and Mom for giving me this chance to finally marry the girl that I like and also bringing me to the right person that I will forever keep" Jiyong smiled and patted his daughter's shoulder.

"You just have to trust her Dad. We already know Jennie is head over heels to that girl" Kai said causing Jennie to nod confidently Jiyong just smiled and patted Jennie's shoulder.

Meanwhile, Laurene rechecking the things they will be bringing "It's all set, Mrs. Kim"

"Alright then" The bodyguard closed the trunk while Laurene faced her Mom, Dowon, Dohyun, and Daeun "Well, I guess I'll see you guys soon?" Laurene asked walking closer to them

Leslie instantly hugged her while Laurene sigh, she knew she feels sad and tried her best to make her stay but it was already their full decision since they knew it will be good for the baby "Mommy, you don't have to be sad" Laurene said rubbing her back

"I know sweetheart but you know the time is so fast that sometimes I just want it to stop to spend time with you and support you with your work or travel around Korea together" Laurene smiled as she pulled out the hug

"Mommy you know we already did that. Together with Dowon and the two little teenagers right?" Laurene said

"I know but it hits different since you're already married and starting a family soon. I can't believe my baby girl is a grown-up already and ready to have a family soon" Laurene shakes her head

"And you will be a grandmother soon so is Dowon will be a grandfather soon. Even though I have a wife and having a baby soon, it will never change that I'm your daughter and baby girl" Leslie laugh but tears are streaming down from her eyes as Laurene wipes it "Come on Mommy, I promise you I will update always and I need you there on my delivery"

"I know Sweetie I know. But you have to call me if something is not right okay? Especially, if it's about the company I don't want you to be stressed"

"I know Mom, I always do and will" Leslie kissed her daughter's cheeks while she sighs. Laurene looked at Dowon and hugged him "Thank you, thank you so much" she said, Dowon hugged her back as Laurene rested her head on his shoulder.

She also became close with the Man, he spends time with her and teaches her some of his hobbies, and tells her how much he loves plants. They also travel with Leslie and Dohyun and stand up as her father. Someday soon, Laurene is panning to call her that word she's just waiting for the right time.

"You know I will always be here for you. You have to keep safe okay? Tell Jennie I will attack her if something happens to you and that baby you're carrying" Laurene chuckled as she pulled out the hug.

This is what she likes about Dowon she remembered her dad's straight wherein she looks after her, protect her and make her laugh because of his jokes and pranks. He was like the second version of her Dad and she was thankful that someone is standing for her.

"You know I will always call you and Mommy. But, you need to promise that you will look after my siblings" Dowon gives her a thumbs up while Laurene smiled she looked at Daeun and Dowon as she also opened her arms they instantly hugged her tightly. Laurene sigh she will surely miss her siblings. She protects her a lot when they knew that the older was pregnant, she looks after her when she was alone while Jennie was in the studio and the Company.

"You'll be back?" Dohyun asked pulling out the hug. Laurene fixed his hair for sure he'll be lonely again but she can't do anything and he's also still in his university

"I will be back with your nephew. I promise but it will be soon but I promise when both of your schedules die down and have the chance to have your vacation I will get you both and stay there with us" Daeun and Dohyun eyes lit up

"You promise?" Daeun asked, Laurene, nodded and smiled "You have to vote our group when the award show is near"

Laurene chuckled and nodded "I will and I'll tell it with my friends" The two teens smiled and hugged her again.

Jennie was looking at them lovingly, she can already imagine how her wife would look like when the baby comes out. She couldn't contain her imagination when it comes to her wife. Jennie came back to reality when Laurene called her she quickly ran to her side and said they needed to leave.

Jennie hugged Laurene's family and told Dohyun to update her about the house which he instantly promised and agreed while Laurene said goodbye to her wife's family and gave them some comforting hugs and promised them that she will update them when her delivery is near.

Jennie opened the car door for Laurene and for the last time she waved goodbye to the family. Once she was inside, she took her hand's wife and kissed it Laurene smiled and rested her head on her wife's shoulder.

"We're starting everything together," Jennie said

"No Honey, we already started but the difference is we're facing the real marriage because we're having a child and we're gonna race him together" Jennie smiled

"I promise I'll be the best...Daddy" Jennie whispered while Laurene slapped her arms playfully but blushed

"Honey" Laurene pouts causing Jennie to laugh and kiss her pout.

"I love you so much" Jennie whispered while holding her chin

"And I love you so much more. My Charming Wife" Jennie smiled and let Laurene be comfortable in her side.

For sure, the news will be out about her and Laurene leaving the country. She just doesn't care about that right now all she wants her wife and baby to be safe because she will never forgive herself if something bad happens to them.

After a long flight, they finally arrived in Los Angeles Laurene's bodyguards picked them up and they are welcomed by the loving fans which Laurene and Jennie said Hi to them. The bodyguard immediately took them to Laurene's home since it was already nine pm. She knew her boss wanted to rest already.

"Woah, I didn't realize that you were living in this huge house alone," Jennie said looking out of the window. Laurene chuckled as the bodyguard opened the car door for them. They went inside and they were welcomed by the maids and Laurene told them to bring all the luggage to their room "Did you renovate it?" Jennie asked sitting at the couch while the maid put down the wine and the glass.

"Yes, this was our family house. This was Mommy and Daddy's house when they got married. This house was ancient in their time I even manage to catch that time but when Mommy and Daddy you know" Laurene looked at Jennie as she nodded knowing already the reason why she doesn't want to say it "Daddy decided to renovate it as a modern mansion that's why I like contemporary. When Daddy vanished I decided to renovate it again but the design stays the same this was finished two weeks before I came to Korea" Laurene said pouring some wine and handing it to Jennie

"So, you certainly grew up in an ancient and contemporary home?" She asked while Laurene nodded

"Yes, want to look around?" Laurene asked while Jennie smiled and nodded. Laurene intertwined their fingers and started at the kitchen.

The house was luxurious, it was full of luxurious things, and the cameras that Ben used. The house has seven rooms and has a bathroom in each room additional bathroom on the top floor and the room section and two bathrooms downstairs. Jennie was shocked how in the world Laurene never gets lost in this house. It was so enormous.

The house also has a huge garage that was full of luxurious cars and ancient cars that is expensive right now when you buy one. The backyard has a huge swimming pool and a huge ass garden that was full of roses, sunflowers, and lilies.

The tour finally ended and they are now in their official bedroom, it was Laurene's bedroom. Jennie was taking a bath while Laurene took out some clothes for her. Just then, she heard some commotions downstairs. She looked at the clock and it was already eleven pm for sure the maids and bodyguards were asleep but the guard that has his nightshift right now is just staying outside the house.

She doesn't know if she will go down and check it but she's scared maybe it was a stranger. She decided just to leave it off but after a few minutes, she heard the commotion again this time she knew it was coming from her Dad's office downstairs. So she sighed, she decided to wear her bathrobe and texted the guard to come with her.

She comes down slowly and she could hear someone is typing coming from her Dad's office the guard was behind her and Laurene slowly opened the door she was scared of course she closed her eyes and opened it completely but to her surprise, no one was there. She sighs in relief and rechecks all the things together with the guard and the other bodyguards were also awake.

Laurene was confused, she just heard some commotions and someone is typing in this place.

"Mrs. Kim I'd seen nothing in this office. Do you want me to look around the house?" The guard asked

"Okay," The guard nodded and left. She has her flashlight and scissors just in case someone is trying to sneak into the house. She was looking at the long hallways she closed the door and was about to go back to the shortcut of her room when she instantly saw someone walking. The height, the body type, the hair, and the outfit were so familiar. It was a Man.

Laurene's hair was growing and she's shivering. The Man was just standing in the living room looking at the stairs when she walked a bit closer. A tear just left her eyes...It was her Dad.

"D-daddy" Laurene was about to get closer but Ben left going straight up to the stairs quickly and Laurene quickly followed "Daddy, wait please," she said following her Dad from behind but he wasn't stopping.

Laurene saw that Ben went inside his room, she was skeptical at first she doesn't know if everything is real or not but she missed her Dad so much and wanted to hug him. So, she got an idea to follow him she took the plant and go to her Dad's room and place the plant in the door.

"Daddy, are you here?" Laurene said looking around, she looked at the balcony, and there she saw her Dad standing. Laurene looked at him this is usually what he does when he was still alive. She decided to get close "Daddy," Laurene said hesitantly. Ben turned around and smiled at her lovely daughter. Laurene's breath hitch the tears were streaming down her face. Ben opened his arms for Laurene to hug when instantly Laurene hugged him tightly.

She missed him, this was the hug that she has been wanting. She could feel Ben's smile "Sweetie, thank you so much for fulfilling Daddy's wish" Ben slowly pulled out the hug and wipe's her daughter's cheek "look at you, you're gonna a Mommy soon, and" Ben pointed at the baby bump "that's my Grandson"

"I miss you so much" Laurene muttered sobbing "I miss everything about you, please stay"

"Sweetie, as much as I want to I can't" Ben hugged his daughter again and kissed her forehead. Laurene felt cold knowing this is happening real she wasn't hallucinating "But, you have to remember Daddy will always be here. I'm looking at you and helping you with all the things. Jennie is doing a great job and she was taking care of you. I just wanted to say that, please tell you, Mom, that I love her so vastly and tell Jennie that please take care of you and your baby. It's so hard to say this but I wanted to let you know before I completely vanished and be out in this world I waited for you to come back to just say the three words. I love you, Princess. I miss you" Ben said while Laurene is sobbing hardly she could already feel that Ben is vanishing so she tried to hug him tightly but it was no use

"Daddy, please. J-just stay" Then he was gone. Laurene ended up crying on the floor, wanting her Dad to be back. All she wants is him and finally to meet Jennie.

"Honey," Jennie said running towards her with a worried tone she kneel so she could in her wife's level "Honey, what are you doing here?"

"Jennie, I-I s-saw D-dad. I-I s-saw him. N-now he's g-gone again" Laurene said looking straight into her wife's eyes.

"Oh Honey," She doesn't know if she will believe it but seems like everything is true since Laurene was shaking and panting "I guess he visit you because he wanted to remind you how much he loves you" Laurene nodded "That's good right? At least, he reminds you" Laurene nodded again "Let's go to sleep alright? I promise tomorrow we will visit him"

Laurene slowly stood up with the help of Jennie. She looked back at the spot where his Dad stood up a while ago.

"I love you so much Daddy" she said to her mind
