Avery's POV:
"You cannot see that boy!" my dad yell.
"Like I even I wanted to see him or meet him," I said.
"What has he done to you?!" my mom asked.
"Nothing! We didn't do anything...!" I answered.
"Well..." Juliet said.
"What?!" my dad yell out.
"Nothing! Just.. nothing!"
"Are you sure, honey?" my mom asks.
"Yes, I am sure, mom and dad. I don't even like him."
"Alright, you better. We don't want to see you heartbroken and shattered."
Blake's POV:
"You're gonna find out where she lives?" Joshua asks me.
"Stalker much?" Don said.
"Hey, I like her. Might as well," I responded.
"But she doesn't even like you! She clearly hates you, bro," said Joshua.
"I will get her. I know she likes me. She's just playing hard to get. We made out last night," I said while smoking.
"Well, you do like a challenge..." Don said.
"Exactly."
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Hey princess," I said.
"How do you know where I live?" Avery asked me.
"That's not important. You gonna invite me in?"
"Um, no," she said while closing the door.
I pushed it and went in.
"Nice place. Juliet lives here with you?"
She closed the door and said, "Uh, yeah."
Avery's POV:
What is he doing here?
"I know that you're wondering why I'm here," he said.
"Wow, you can read minds. I'm impressed," I said.
He came close to me and said, "Really?"
I backed away and said, "No, not really. I'm not easy, Blake. And I'm not an idiot."
"Who said that you were an i***t?" he asked.
Somebody knocks on the door.
"You have company? Another boy?" he asked.
"I'm not a slut, you jerk," I told him.
I looked in the peek hole. Oh f**k.
"It's my mom," I said.
"Oh really? I'll love to meet her."
"No, you have to hide," I went up to him and pushed him towards my bedroom.
"You want to already?" he asked.
"Shut up and go. And we aren't together. Hide!"
He said, "Anything for my princess." He gave me a wink and went in my room. I closed the door.
I opened the door and said, "Hey mom. You're back."
She said, "Sorry honey, but I needed to use the bathroom. It's a long drive back."
"Oh, okay."
Shit, we only have one bathroom and it's in Juliet's and my room. Blake's in there. Crap!
"The bathroom's in your room, right?" my mom asked.
"Yeah, hold on."
I went in my room and I saw Blake sitting on my bed on his phone.
I told him, "You have to go hide in my closet."
"Why?" he asked.
"Just go, quick."
He stood up and I pushed him towards my closet. He went in and I closed the door.
My mom came in and said, "It'll be quick, sweetie."
"Take your time, mom," I said while smiling.
Blake's POV:
My phone was ringing. Avery opened the door.
She said, "What the hell, Blake? Turn it off!"
"I gotta take this," I told her.
"You can't!"
I turned off my phone. Why am I hiding anyways?
Avery's POV:
"All done! Bye sweetie!" my mom said.
"Bye mom! Have a safe drive back and tell dad I said bye again!" I told her.
She left.
Blake came out of the closet and he asks me, "Why do I need to hide?"
I replied, "You have to."
"Aww, I wanted to meet your mom. She sounds lovely."
"Shut up and leave, Blake."
"I don't wanna leave," he said while smirking.
"Why are you even here? You act like we're a couple. We aren't."
"But we can be, princess."
I cross my arms and said, "No, bye. You can leave now."
He sat down on my bed and said, "Your closet smells really good." He took out a pack of cigarette. He took one out and grab the lighter on my vanity.
"You can't smoke in here," I told him.
He ask me, "Why do you even have a lighter?"
"So I can lit my candles, duh."
He flicked the lighter and I said, "No, if you want to smoke, do it outside."
He got up and went on my balcony. He lit his cigarette and said, "You have an awesome view."
I went to the balcony too and took the lighter from his hands. I put it back on my vanity.
I went back to the balcony and said, "Thanks, I guess. But I'm still wondering why you're here."
He turned to me and said, "Too see you, obviously."
"Ewh, your breath stinks," I told him.
"Because of the smoke, princess."
"I know. That's just gross, Blake. You know that, that can kill you right?"
"Yeah, I do."
"Then why do it?" I ask him.
He turned and look at the beautiful view and said, "I tried to stop but I couldn't."
