The door slammed shut behind her with a heavy click, plunging the small storage room into near darkness. Only a thin strip of light from the hallway crept under the door, just enough to catch the sharp outline of a tall, broad-shouldered figure pressing her back against the wood. Andrea’s heart slammed against her ribs. A strong hand covered her mouth, gentle but firm. Hot breath brushed her ear. “Shh.” She froze, every muscle tense, until the familiar scent of his cologne hit her–dark, expensive, unmistakably Henry. The hand on her mouth slid away slowly, replaced by his lips ghosting over the shell of her ear. “Henry?” she whispered, voice shaky with leftover adrenaline. “What the hell is this? You said it was urgent. I thought something was wrong. I was looking for you everywhere—”
