"Darling, you should know its easy to fool a princess, why don't you join me and become my Queen?" Carter says, his dismal eyes melting into mine. I look at him blankly, not sure of what to respond back.
Carter shakes his head before looking at the broken bracelet. "Just go back to class, there's no use of talking about this useless piece of jewellery," he murmurs, stepping away from me - leaving me in the empty hallways to drown in my own confusion, this white smoke in my mind, it grows deeper and deeper. Slowly consuming everything in my mind, what really is my past? Has my mother been provoking me with lies all along?
