Iyanna Salvador’s childlike chatter and giggles filled the wide office of the SMU Publishing’s CEO. Lowell pressed his lips together in an attempt to control his temper. On the other hand, Wednesday was noticeably uncomfortable and forced herself to laugh at each of his mother’s unhumorous comments.
“You know,” Iyanna said with her mouth still munching on food. She pointed her fork over the lunchbox and nodded her head, still marveling over its taste. “This really tastes good, Wednesday. Unbelievably good.”
