“ So, what are we going to do?” Melanie asked with the most seriousness in her tone.

“ I don’t know Mel, I still need to think.” I rubbed my jaw and moved further away to seat on the chair by the corner of the room.

My gaze shattered towards the window to view the appearance from the moon. The full moon pack is not one to mess with.

The pack building was the most enormous building in loveltona. It was buried deep in the forest at the heart of the town, far from the prying eyes of any visitors that actually managed to stumble off the freeway and into the unfriendly little hamlet. The floor pan of the building was shaped like an enormous U with sharp corners, with two of the building facing north to south and one on the end, facing east to west, with a large courtyard that was opened on one side, that was the place I met with her, my mate. The outside of the building was half timbered, with dark brown beams that looks nearly black against the ivory colored plaster that reminded Melanie of something she might have seen in a guidebook for Europe.

Below ground there was a pool and one of the nicest gym in the state with every modern convenience that the pack members could ask for.

The first floor at ground level was used Mainly for recreation. The second floor was where the pack offices were all located. And the third and fourth floor were bedrooms and apartments for single wolves or couples or anyone who just didn’t want or wasn’t ready to live in a house of own.

My pack have been living in harmony for some time until I started loosing my powers. I couldn’t make it know to a lot of them to prevent fear on them.

I felt Melanie’s hands behind me as she curved her way to my laps.

“Someone must have been lost in thought, I literally had to sneak on you to gain your attention again .” She slipped around so she was sitting on my lap, and I became extremely conscious of how tiny the short denim shorts she had picked this morning was as she rested her head against my chest.
