The expansive halls of the grand palace were buzzing with excitement as the preparations for Princess Seraphina's wedding ball were in full swing. Servants scurried about, their footsteps echoing off the marble floors, frantically making sure every detail was perfect for the momentous occasion. In the magnificent ballroom, large chandeliers hung from the high ceilings, casting a warm, golden glow over the opulent decorations. Elaborate floral arrangements adorned tables, filling the air with the sweet fragrance of roses and lilies. Crystal glasses and silver cutlery sparkled under the light, reflecting the festive ambiance. The sound of laughter and chatter filled the room as seamstresses, bustling with finesse, put the finishing touches on exquisite gowns for the ball. Their nimble fingers delicately sewed intricate beadwork and lace, ensuring each dress shimmered like stars in the night sky. Meanwhile, skilled craftsmen meticulously arranged the tables, draping them with lavish fabrics and adorning them with fine china and shimmering centerpieces. In the grand kitchen, a team of talented chefs worked tirelessly, conjuring culinary masterpieces to satiate the appetites of the esteemed guests. The mesmerizing aroma of freshly baked pastries and simmering sauces wafted through the air, eliciting delightful anticipation. Seraphina's handmaidens were actively engaged in preparing the princess for her special day, ”My Queen “ Everyone bowed as she stepped into the room to see her darling daughter. “Oh my baby, you look beautiful my dear,” the Queen said, “Mum am nervous, I don't think am ready for this Mum”, Seraphina said stammering, “Oh my baby, you will be just fine, I got married to your father at the age of sixteen, and look at us now, we love each other dearly, so even when it starts roughly, you'll have to try to adapt to your new home okay?”, “but mum I don't know if I would like him,” Seraphina said worriedly, “don't worry baby, you will adapt, now everyone is quick the guests are here already, “ the Queen said and leaves the room. Princess Aurora and Isabella walk into the room to see their sister, Seraphina hugs Aurora and starts crying softly, “Stop sera, you will ruin your makeup, Mum said you were having a hard time, and am here to ensure you that it's not as bad as you think, yes it might start up rough but eventually you will adapt okay?” Aurora said looking into her eyes, “What if I don't adapt Aurora, what if I mess up things” Seraphina said crying, “ Seraphina I trust that you can do it, if you don't Mum and Dad's reputation will be ruined, I know you won't mess it up, now clean your tears, I promise to visit frequently “ Isabella says holding sera’s hand, the three sisters hug feeling emotional, Seraphina's makeup was already a mess and Aroura helps her to fix it. As the sun began to set, casting a warm twilight glow over the palace grounds, the final preparations were completed. The grand doors to the ballroom swung open, revealing a breathtaking display of Princess Seraphina, Her striking appearance, with long, flowing ebony hair that was packed upwards, with diamond pins holding it together and piercing sapphire eyes, evokes an air of mystery and intrigue. Seraphina looked straight at her husband-to-be to see what he looked like, his long black silky hair packed downwards with his crown over it and his deep blue eyes staring right at Seraphina, King Aldrian, tall and regal, exuded an air of authority and power. Yet, his eyes held a gentleness and warmth that immediately put Seraphina at ease. She could not help but find him stunning. King Aldrian approached Seraphina with a gracious smile, extending his hand to her. "Princess Seraphina, it is an honor to finally meet you," he said, his voice resonating with kindness. "Likewise, Your Majesty," Seraphina replied, her voice quivering slightly. She placed her hand in his, feeling a strange connection, as though their paths were destined to intertwine. The music plays softly as they exchange their vows to each other and exchange rings, Seraphina gets nervous and her palms get sweaty, the groom notices this and holds her hand nodding slowly at her, this calmed her down, “he is actually a nice man, might not be so bad after all” she thought as she smiled nervously. The wedding ended and it was time for the ball, The air was charged with anticipation, as the guests danced in their finest attire into the hall, their excitement palpable. As they danced together, their eyes met once again, and a spark of recognition passed between them. Seraphina noticed the genuine interest in King Adrian's eyes as they danced, his attention solely focused on her. In that moment, the formality of their arranged marriage dissolved, replaced by a genuine connection.
