***ARCTURUS***

“we have located the vessel" the girl operating the computerized screen said

“finally! where is it?" Bartem asked walking up to the screen, eyes fixed on the data being displayed on it

“on earth" she replied

“good. Send for him" he said, making his way out of the computer room. He walked into the common hall and stood still before the two chairs set as a throne and stared at them intently as though he was reading it.

“you sent for me" Drew said walking to where Bartem was standing, crossing his hands behind his back

“What do you see when you look at these thrones?" Bartem asked still not averting his gaze from the chairs.

“well..." Drew said before clearing his throat “the king and the queen, the great leaders of our race and the symbol of our people" he replied. Bartem smiled, little laughs escaping his lips

“yeah, you are probably right...but do you know what I see?!....power, power that needs to be preserved, protected." He turned now facing Drew before continuing “And now, dear boy, it is up to you to protect that power, to not allow it run dry. Pack up boy, it's time for you to go to earth" he concluded and walked away leaving Drew alone to process the order

***EARTH***

“Come on, we're gonna be late!" Anna shouted knocking on the vehicle glass alerting Emily and her mom who was still discussing inside the car. Emily looked at her friend, smiled back at her and turned away, drawing her gaze to her fingernails, the smile fading from her lips.

“i know it's gonna be hard but we'll get through this, together, I promise" her mom Melissa said placing her hand on Emily's. “and you have your friends too" she added

“friend, not friends mom, I only have one friend and she's standing over there" Emily replied softly staring at Anna.

“Alright then. You should get going so you won't keep your friend waiting any longer" her mom said. Emily nodded, opened the door, took her backpack and stepped out of the car slowly closing the door behind her. She sighed, turned back to her mom and waved before walking up to her friend.

“Finally!" Anna exclaimed grabbing her friend's arm. “So how does it feel...you know, coming back to school?" she continued as they walked through the front door arriving at the hallway of the school. Unlike Emily, Anna was a blonde, averagely tall, more social and a few months older than Emily. Just like her friend, she's the only child of her parents and these two have been friends since childhood.

“Normal...I don't know, is it supposed to feel different?!" Emily replied adjusting her backpack

“come on Em, you lost your dad a few months ago and you haven't been in school until today, you are allowed to feel different" she explained

“i don't know about all that but what I know for sure is that I've got some catching up to do" Emily replied with the bell ringing repeatedly, they rushed into their classroom.

***ARCTURUS***

Drew pushed the door open and walked Into the room hastily, he got to bed and pulled down the sheets “Come on brother it's time" he said as he walked to the windows pushing the curtains open.

“uhh, my eyes, can you ever stop hijacking my peaceful mornings" Tyrone complained

“and does your “peaceful mornings" always require a different girl by your side?" Drew asked staring at him and crossing his arms. Tyrone looked at the other side of his bed and touched the figure on the bed now realizing he hadn't slept alone.

“oh, totally forgot she was here" he whispered to his brother, smiling, “come on love, off you go" he said tapping the girl. She woke up, picked her clothes from the floor, bowed to the both of them nervously and hurried out of the room, covering her nakedness with her clothes. Tyrone stood up from the bed still naked walked up to the table beside his brother and poured himself a drink.

“you really should take life more seriously" Drew said

“what?!...i am taking life seriously " he replied downing the contents of his cup

“well, put on some clothes and get ready, it's time!" Drew said walking towards the door

“yeah, you said that before...time for what exactly?" He asked running his fingers through his thick long hair

"Time to go to Earth. The Vessel has been located, so get ready to leave soon!" He said, walking out of the room.

“oh well, isn't that interesting?!"

“Hello mother" Drew said walking into his parents room. A big room that could be mistaken for a ball room, decorated with colourful ceramics on the walls and blue linens hanging around the bed. He walked up to where she was sitting and placed his hands on her shoulders “how are you feeling?" He asked

“I am better" she said with a low voice

“And father?" He asked with concern written on his face

“Still in the sick pod, I'm afraid he isn't getting any better" she said with sadness. “i heard the vessel has been located and you are leaving for earth" she continued

“Yes, we will be leaving shortly" he replied sitting on the bed

“I don't know why two of you have to go, one of you could easily retrieve the vessel" she complained

“Well, you know Tyrone. he's never one to miss out on fun" he explained.

“Yeah I'm not." Tyrone cut in walking into the room fully dressed and prepared. He walked up to his mother and kissed her on the cheeks.

“Oh my poor boy, you grew up too fast" she said as though she was about to cry holding his hand.

“Come on mother, I'm not a kid anymore, Drew is not much older than i am" he complained

“Alright it's time to go" Drew said standing up.

“Come my beautiful boys let me hug you" she said drawing them close and hugging them tightly

They got to where the ships were stationed. Walked to the one that was prepared for them, the doors of the ship automatically split open for them and they walked into the ship. It was as big as an apartment decorated with advanced technologies. It was a four man ship, with computerized screen on both sides in the ship. It has voice scan and facial scan. They sat on the two pilot seats, with the seatbelt automatically locking them in. They got facially scanned and the machine beeped with approval “welcome on board" a female voice Spiria spoke

“Spiria, set a course for planet earth" Drew said, holding the seatbelt

“setting course for planet earth" Spiria spoke

“Locked in on planet Earth, permission to launch?" Spiria asked

“Launch" Drew gave the command. The ship fired up, gathered momentum and set out of their planet, Arcturus to plant Earth leaving their home behind

“oooh!, here we go brother!" Tyrone shouted excitedly “Spiria, some music" he added

“playing music" said Spiria

“You've got to be kidding me" Drew said with frustration as his brother started singing aloud along with the song playing.

***EARTH***

Emily came out of the house and sat with her mom on the porch, she wrapped the blanket she was holding around her body tightly and heaved a deep sigh “its cold tonight" she stated. She looked at her mom who was staring at the stars in silence and wondered what was going through her mind. She then stared at the stars too as if the answers were there.

“you know, your dad and I used to just sit out here and look at the stars most nights after you fall asleep." She smiled before she continued “he used to say that there's life out there and maybe we might have crossed paths with them without even knowing" she sneered

“come on mom, you didn't believe that did you?" Emily said smiling

"Your dad was a really convincing man, you know." She said. "Really?" Emily asked in disbelief. "Yeah" her mom responded and immediately they both burst out in laughter.

“dad couldn't convince me to do anything" she said

“yeah well, you are stubborn, just like he was" Melissa said and went silent for some time “but I didn't believe though" she finally said breaking the silence

“yeah... that would be the rational thing to do and besides if there's life outside earth, it's gonna be little green men with tentacles" Emily explained

"You're watching way too much movies" Melissa said as they both burst out laughing again.

They fell into silence again and returned to gazing at the stars. Squinting her eyes on noticing a light falling fast in the sky “what is that?" Emily said pointing at the bright light

“i think it's a shooting star" Melissa said

“not sure it is, it's falling straight down" she argued

“maybe it's a meteor rock falling" Melissa said and the light suddenly vanished. "It has disappeared! We'll take a wish anyway."

"I wish dad were alive". Emily said. Her mom stood up, stroking Emily's hair "me too dear" she said and made her way into the house leaving Emily with her thoughts.

“Well, hello Earth" Tyrone said as they came out of the ship, they had landed in the woods and it was night time. They looked around “it is greener than I expected" he added

“spiria activate stealth mode" Drew said.

“activating stealth mode" Spiria said. The machine beeped, the ship camouflaged with the environment, making it invisible to the eyes.

“Well I guess you've read everything about Earth 'cause as you already know, we've got to blend in to avoid suspicion." Drew explained.

"Well, not everything. I got bored when I got to the part about the government and world power. It's like Earth's Reality TV show but for old people and old people bore me"

“are you kidding me, it literally won't take you more than 2inutes to read up everything" Drew said in frustration.

“two minutes is a long time in my world brother" he smiled

“Let's go! We need to change our clothings and see how things work practically."

“alrighty, but I'm keeping my boots" Tyrone said as he walks behind his brother.

**Osiris Corp underground facility**

“sir you need to see this" the young man mounted on the seat facing the computer alerted

“what is it?" Dr Glass asked

“The energy level that was detected in these area in the middle of nowhere was off the chart and it disappeared after some seconds" the boy explained pointing at the screen. The doctor looked at the chart on display intently and smiled.

“There's only one thing that has been known to give off such strong energy" he stood adjusting his lab coat, "They are back!" He said while smiling sheepishly!.
