Encounters

The chattering in the bar died down as all heads turned to the direction of the door to see who the intruder was. The two men in suit who just walked in stopped and took off the dark shades they were wearing. They looked like FBI agents with the complete suit they wore, neatly tucked in. They wore this dangerous facial expression. They scanned the room quickly before walking to the direction of the bartender. “Good morning!" The first man said placing his hands on the counter.

“Morning, how can I help you gentlemen?" she asked

“We heard about an incident that occurred here two days ago, we were wondering if you could walk us through it" he gave a crooked smile

“And who might you gentlemen be?" She asked staring at them with suspicion

“We are with the FBI" the other man said as they both brought out their badges and showed it to her “You see, we've been after them for a while now and would appreciate your help" he added

“Well, there was something definitely weird about them. They had this bright blue eyes, a bit out of the ordinary and they were freakishly strong for young guys. One of them knocked Carl out with a single punch and the other literally broke a man's bone with a single punch too" she explained

“How many of them?" The first man asked

“Two guys" she responded wiping the counter with her towel

“Can you remember their faces?" He asked

“Yeah I think"

“Good, you are going to try to describe it for my partner here, while he tries to sketch it" he said

“Okay...oh and they stole Frank's car too...the guy with the broken bone" she said

“I'm gonna need that car's plate number, where can I find this Frank?" He asked.

“Excuse me, Mr Edward!" A lady interrupted the class, walking in with Drew and Tyrone following behind her. The class murmured and whispered to each other on seeing the boys. “Hello class, these are your new classmates, Drew and Tyrone Marshall. They just transferred here so be nice to them" pointing at them “go have your seats" she instructed. Turning to the teacher she said “please carry on" and left the class. Drew and Tyrone sat on the free seats next to each other.

“Welcome" Mr Edward said smiling at them.

Emily and Anna exchanged glances and smiled. Emily turned to look at the boys who were sitting at her right hand side again and was met with Drew's eyes which were staring at her directly, she turned away swiftly and bit her lips in regret as she felt awkward immediately. Drew noticed this and smiled.

**ARCTURUS**

Bartem stood facing the throne, he stared at them intently, nodding unconsciously. He crossed his hands behind his back. After some seconds he cleared his throat and adjusted the collar of the military jacket he was wearing, a blue long sleeve jacket with the king symbol pinned to the chest pocket. Bartem was quite tall, he had long curly black hair and was ripped more than most men in their world. He continued staring at the throne as though he was dreaming. The sound of footsteps coming towards him drew him out of his reverie. He turned and immediately bowed as he saw the queen. “My queen" he raised his head to look at her, she seemed angry “What is it my queen? you don't look happy" he gave a crooked smile

“Why can't I go into the healing room to see the King?" She asked

“Oh that..." He said crossing his hands behind his back “I gave the command for the room to be sealed and not accessible to anyone" he explained

“I am not anyone, I am the Queen and I demand to be allowed into the room now" she retorted

He smiled, before signalling for the two soldiers at the door to come “I am the commander of the king's guard and it's my duty to make sure the king is safe and I'm of the opinion that the king's life is threatened" he explained. The soldiers got to where they were and bowed. “Please escort the Queen to her room and make sure she doesn't leave" he ordered and turned back to staring at the throne

“You can't do that, I'm the Queen" she shouted, struggling with the soldiers “I order you to release me" she struggled

“They only take orders from me now, my queen" he said not averting his gaze

“You traitor, my sons are not going to take this well when they return" she shouted as the soldiers dragged her out of the room

“Oh, I'm counting on it" he smiled.

**EARTH**

“Can I have a burger to go please?!" A girl at the counter said

“Sure, coming right up" Emily said as she disappeared into kitchen and returned with a packed burger and handed it over to the customer “Here you go" she said. She collected the money and then picked up her note to write.

“Hey!" Derick said, recognizing the voice, she looked up from what she was writing. He waved at her, she felt her heart skipped a beat. “Remember our date?" He said giving a smile

“Hi, yeah...of...of course" she stammered. “Take a seat, my shift ends in five, I'll...I'll join you soon" she smiled shyly. He walked to a seat and sat staring at her.

Ray's diner is the heart of Greenville, an special hangout spot for residents of the town.

They came out of the diner holding their cups of hot chocolate as they walked towards the direction of Derick's car. She handed her cup to him and drew down the sleeves of the sweater she was wearing “Feeling cold?" He asked handing her back her cup

“Yeah a bit" she took a sip from the cup

“We'll get to the car soon" he said smiling at her.

“Where are we going, why can't we just stay at the diner?" Emily asked curious to know what he had planned.

“It's a surprise, be patient" he replied. She smiled shyly, she stole a glance at him and felt lucky going out with the most popular guy in school, she still couldn't believe it was true

“so, for how long have you em...you know... have your sights on me?" She asked making circles on her cup with her fingers, avoiding his eyes which she could tell was fixated on her.

“since junior year, when we were in detention together" he said

“Wow... really, so why now?" She asked still avoiding his eyes

“Well I was too afraid then to come up to you but now I decided to try my luck, cause I knew it was now or never seeing as we'd be graduating soon" he explained. He held her hand in his and this made her heart skip a beat “We are here" he said pointing to his car. He walked up to the car still holding her hands, he gently pushed her against it. He placed his cup on the car and placed his sights on her, looking straight into her eyes silently. She became nervous, she tried to look away but he turned her face back to him, he placed his left palm on her face and his right hand on her waist. She knew he was going to kiss her, she felt her heart pounding as he leaned in closer. She closed her eyes and soon felt his soft lips on hers. She exhaled softly and gave into the kiss fully. They kissed continuesly as he then forced his tongue in too, he gently started moving his right hand from her waist up her body, he groped and squeezed her boob, she reached for his hand and pulled it away, he continued kissing her and then he reached for her sweater, pulling it up a little he put his hand inside her sweater and grabbed her boob again.

“Stop!" She said almost whispering, breaking the kiss and removing her body from the car, he pushed her back roughly without saying a word and tried kissing her again as she started struggling “Derick stop!" She shouted this time. Still not uttering any word, he kept on struggling with her confident that no one will see them as that part of the park was dark“Pleease stop!" She shouted again almost crying. He pulled away swiftly from her as someone from behind grabbed his right hand, twisting his middle and ring finger backwards out of position

“She said stop! buddy" Drew said. He screamed in pain as he turned and saw Drew. He ran off leaving his car behind. “Are you okay?" He asked

“Yeah, I'm fine. Thanks" she said adjusting her sweater

“Are you sure?" He inquired

“Yeah I'm okay, thanks to you. I just need to get back to the diner" she replied.

“Okay, let me walk you to there" he offered

“Alright thanks."

“I'm Drew" he introduced as they started walking to the direction of the diner

“I remember, from class earlier today. I'm Emily" she said folding her arms.

“You look cold" he said

“Yeah, I'll just grab my stuff at the diner and head home to warm up" she replied blowing hot air into her palms. Drew saw this and then took off his jacket and covered her with it

“You don't have to"

“I want to, just use it" he urged

“thanks, I'll give it back at school tomorrow" she said as they got to the door of the diner

“Alright, I guess I'll see you tomorrow" he said

“Yeah, thanks again and goodnight" she replied smiling. He turned and left, she stood there for some seconds watching his retreating back before heading inside.

Tyrone walked out of the store with a bag containing items he just purchased. He walked to the direction were he parked his car and as he got closer he saw someone resting on the car, he got closer to the car and could make the face of the man “Humm...hey, can you move? That's my car" he said as he got to were the man was

“Oh, this is your car? Because the guy who gave us the plate number swore this was his car" the man on suit said, putting his hand in his pocket

“Sorry?! He asked confused

”You are the travellers right, where is the other one, your brother or whoever he is to you?!" The man asked. Tyrone was taken aback, the shock was clearly visible on his face, he didn't know who this man was or how he knew about them. He was about to speak when a high pitching sound sent him crashing down on his knees holding his head, He felt like his head was going to explode from the sound, he screamed at the pain. He turned to see where the sound was coming from, he saw the second man behind him holding a silver colour wand like device with him, with his thumb holding down the button. The sound intensified as the man got closer, his sight was becoming fuzzy.

“Hey! What are you guys doing to him, I'm gonna call the cops" a man coming out from the store shouted. The second man holding the wand, turned to look at the man, removing his thumb from the button. Seeing they were distracted by the man and the sound having stopped, he got up swiftly and kicked the man with wand sending him flying and crashing on the ground far away from them, he turned towards the other man and rushed towards him, hitting him against the car and knocking him out. He rushed into the car and drove off.

**Osiris Corp underground facility**

“We have gotten confirmation General, there are two travellers on Earth and they are in Greenville" Dr Glass said as he held the phone to his ears tightly “I know and it's not going to happen again....I'll do my job General, just make sure you do yours" he concluded and hung up the phone.

“Dr Glass, you need to come see this" a doctor said rushing Into the office. Dr Glass stood up immediately and followed the doctor into the room where pods were placed and specimens were put into.

“We were observing the routine check up across all the pods when we saw it" the doctor said excitedly. They got to a particular pod and stopped in front of it, the doctor gave him a tablet “Subject X3 vital signs became active, showing signs of life" he explained adjusting his glasses

“She's waking up" Dr Glass said with a smile escaping his lips as they both looked at the girl in the pod.
