Lucius opened the folder and raised his eyebrows as he studied the results.
"Come on," John snapped, "we all know you've already looked at them."
"I wanted to make sure I understand them correctly." Lucius closed the file and handed it to John, who snatched it from him and opened it.
I read along with him. "Neoline, mesaconitine…" I blinked, and the significance of the compounds hit me. "These are alkaloids of aconite."
"Right, gentlemen." Lucius had returned to scientist-lecturer mode. "Wolfsbane, which legendarily has been used to promote out-of-body experiences."
"And is toxic," John added.
"But not in small doses," I said. "And these amounts are minimal. I've heard about some shifters using it to astrally project their animal sides instead of physically changing." I
