Chapter 15 As soon as he got to work Monday morning—and after assuring his employees that yes, he really hadn’t run away to a deserted island to live in seclusion with a lover—Ky checked on the various Hammar stocks. Their value had already begun to diminish, down by one point twenty-four percent overall. An hour later, they were down at least another two percent, if not more.
