Chapter 22
I looked outside the window to see the beauty of the sun rising in the morning. I have woken so early and immediately dressed for school today.
My eyes widened in surprise as I’ve seen Mrs. Ally and her husband dining at the table. They are here from abroad! Mrs. Ally opened his hands to welcome me which I abruptly accepted for a hug.
“Good morning, our dear princess. We missed you.” Mr. Rudolf greeted cheerfully and offered a seat to me.
“Take a seat and eat.” Mama Ally said. I nodded and as I was about to take one of the dishes, I suddenly noticed Clinton silently eating in front of me. The plastered smile I’m wearing is slowly fading upon recalling what happened in between us yesterday night.
“Sophia, Manang cooked your favorite meal. Go and try it.” Kieth suggested,
