Alice POV
The next day, Krypton invited me to ride along with him but I instantly refused. I chose to join Keith instead. It was so awkward for the two of us that I wished the ground would just swallow up my whole existence. We haven’t even talked right since then, but the other day I noticed he was busy with something else that I don’t know what it is and lost his time with me. Not because I am being sulky but I think maybe that’s okay.
“Sophia, why are you and your brother ignoring each other?” Aesine asked when we ran into Krypton and didn’t even bother to say hi. Maybe she wondered why he didn’t piss me off as what he usually does.
