Chapter 20
Despite acting weird yesterday, Sean still sent me text this morning, telling me he wanted to drive me to school. To say it was awkward right now was an understatement. We've been in the car for five minutes and not one of us has said a word.
Guess since he won't be saying anything anytime soon, I should take the first step. "So...what really happened last night?" I asked. He didn't even glance at me when he answered.
"What do you mean 'happened'?" he asked, but I could see the way his knuckles around the steering wheel turning slightly white, he knew exactly what I was talking about.
"Come on, don't play that card. You logged off pretty quickly, suddenly needing to reschedule the dinner with your mom, what happened?" I asked a little more determined.
