Chapter 16 Dylan woke up to the sound of an authoritative knock on the front door. His mind went over the possibilities. It could be Trenton, come to kill him for failing Bennett. It could be Chad’s ex, Tess, with a baseball bat. It could be the cops. It could be Seth, or Casey. Or even the ghost of Bennett. He wouldn’t have bothered to get out of bed if he hadn’t heard Laurie in the shower.
