Davie woke to the sound of voices. It took him a minute to figure out it was Vin and, he presumed, the two guys who had been sleeping when they arrived back at the shelter. “You want to know the good spots?” one of the guys said. “Try close to downtown. It’s a walk, but worth it.” “Or go east of here about ten blocks.
