Day Off

Dean x Reader Cute one shot with some fellow favorite characters of mine ;) Gripping your gun tightly to your chest you tried to even out your breathing. Now was definitely not the time to get caught. Slowly lifting your head above the desk you surveyed the dark room, your hunter instincts kicking in trying to figure out if someone was there. A small creak sounded to your left and you ducked back under the table. You listened intently, a moment later you heard it again and knew someone was heading in your direction. Taking a deep breath you readied yourself for the fight coming, once you heard the sound of slow footsteps coming closer you knew it was now or never. Peaking once more over the table you could make out a tall shadow figure. Standing up quickly and reaching forward to aim your gun you pulled the trigger just as the shadow turned towards you. A bright light shown on their chest and where there was once three blinking lights, there were now only two. "Dammit Y/N!" Laughing you stood up and held your gun up to your mouth and pretended to blow smoke off the barrel. "Well now Winchester, I think your getting sloppy. Gettin mighty low on lives there," You smirked at him, you knew what was coming and you were ready. Dean smiled and tried to nonchalantly bring his gun forward so that he could raise it quickly, "Oh no sweetheart, I just wanted to give you a head start. Now the real fun starts," bringing his gun up quickly he tried to fire a shot at you but missed as you dove towards the door and took off down the hall. You could hear heavy footsteps behind you and tried to figure out where you should go. Deciding to take a chance you ran around the next corner and quickly took off your shoes. Waiting until you heard Dean following, you threw one of them down the hall and then took off in the opposite direction. Now you could run quietly and Dean would go the wrong way. Quickly making your way forward you kept your gun ready. Just as you came into the main room you caught movement to your right and instinct made you duck and roll behind a small shelf. Looking around the side you caught sight in the dim emergency lights of a foot sticking out from behind the big chair in the corner. Slowly and quietly army crawling forward you made your way over. Once you reached a spot not far away and to the side you could clearly see the lights shining off red hair. Grinning you hit the table leg beside you creating a small noise and waited. As soon as you saw the body turn you fired off a shot and watched as the final light on Charlies chest died. "Aw man, I thought I found a good hiding spot this time! Nice shot Y/N." Laughing you stood up and walked over to your friend, "It was a good spot, sorry Charlie." She grinned and opened her mouth to say something when you both heard a noise coming from the hall. Sharing a look Charlie saluted you and walked towards the kitchen, it was currently the only room in the bunker with the lights on as it was home base. Any one who ran out of lives was supposed to go there until the game was over. Slipping up the stairs as quickly and quietly as possible you decided to lay flat on the landing and watch the room below. Just as you were settled you saw someone come running into the room, gun drawn and ready. From the short stature and short hair you knew it was Kevin. It looked like he had two lights left. Grinning you decided to play sniper. Holding your gun up you waited patiently for the moment he turned towards you. Once he did you fired off a shot and watched one light go out. Looking down at his chest Kevin threw up his arms and sighed, "Oh man!" His eyes drifted up and saw you giggling on the landing. "It's not fair Y/N, some of us don't do this for a living!" You knew he wasn't really mad though cause you could just make out a small smile on his lips. He began moving towards the bottom of the stairs determined to get you back. Jumping up quickly you ran through the door and towards the garage. Just as you entered it you heard a shot ring out and looked down. Instead of all five lights you now only had four. "What the..." Looking around you then spotted Sam ducking and running behind a few cars. "Get back here Moose!" Copying his strategy you ducked behind the first car you came to and waited, listening for his footsteps. Suddenly his voice rang out through the large room, "Bout time somebody took you down! Besides, you can't win every time." Rolling your eyes you looked up and realized you could see reflections of the room in the glass of the dark windows near the roof. Watching closely you suddenly saw a figure run towards the car you were hiding behind, quickly thinking of which way to turn you barely had time to get your gun up before Sam popped around the end of the car. You both took a shot and once the ding sound rang out you looked down. There were still four lights on your chest, smirking you looked at Sam, he now only had two. Frowning slightly Sam looked up at you, "Damn, I really thought I had you that time. Your really good at this Y/N." Standing up straight and grinning you bowed slightly, "Why thank you Sam." When you straightened out you noticed Sams eyes dart to something behind you and quickly dropped to the floor and rolled to your left as the sound of a shot rang out. Jumping up and running full force you tried to make your way towards the exit door but noticed someone coming through it at the same time. s**t, I'm trapped. Diving behind the nearest car which just happened to be the impala you once again tried to steady your breathing. "You know boys I don't know how to feel about this, on one hand its super unfair to team up. On the other its also really flattering that you have to." Laying down to look under the car you caught sight of two sets of feet walking down the middle between the rows of cars. Deans voice rang out through the empty room, "Don't worry Baby, we'll make it quick and painless. You've been kicking our ass all day, its time for a game changer." While you were distracted by Dean you didn't realize someone had walked up behind you. Suddenly two arms wrapped around your upper body and hauled you to your feet. Looking as far back as you could you realized it was Sam since all you saw was an arm. "Oh now your REALLY being unfair." Sam just shrugged and held your arms down at your sides. "Sorry Y/N." Dean and Kevin both walked over and stood in front of you. You gave them your best bitchface, you weren't going down without a fight. Kevin looked like he really didn't want to do this but was going to anyway. He raised his gun along with Dean and they both aimed, two beats later they both pulled their triggers. You had expected it and surprised Sam by dropping to the floor in front of him. Both shots hit his chest plate and effectively killed him off. You wished you had a camera because all three of their faces were priceless. Before they could recover you quickly lifted your own gun and fired off multiple shots at Dean and Kevin. Kevins plate went completely dark and Deans now showed only one light. Jumping up you began running again to get away. Dean looked at Kevin and Sam, "Don't worry guys, I got this!" he took off running after you. Being barefoot you were able to move quickly and quietly through the halls until you came to the kitchen, running in you stopped a moment to catch your breath. Charlie looked up from the comic book she was reading. "Still winning?" You grinned and nodded, "Hell yeah, just me and the squirrel now." She laughed and pointed over her shoulder towards the second door, "Keep moving then, you know he's not far behind." Pulling your gun to your chest you once again took off, trying to decide where to make your last stand. An idea suddenly popped into your head, making your way towards the bedrooms you stopped at the door to Deans. Usually no one else went in there so you knew he wouldn't think to look and hopefully you could get behind him when he passed by. Closing the door you quietly waited by it for Dean to appear. After a minute you became confused, he should have came running past by now. Suddenly you once again felt two arms wrap around your body and pull you back into a broad chest. Your body tensed and you felt someone put their mouth by your ear, you felt their hot breath on your neck. "Hey there sweetheart, miss me?" Relaxing when you realized it was Dean you let out a laugh, "Dammit Dean how did you know I would be in here?" Loosening his grip some he waited until you turned around before tightening it once more and effectively pulling you against his body. "I know you sweetheart, I knew you would try to hide in the one place no one else would expect." Being in Deans arms had you only half listening to what he was saying, you were really grateful for the dim lights otherwise he would see your whole face flushed. Looking into his eyes you pretended to pout, "Is this the part where you kill me?" Smirking he held his pistol up and laid it on the dresser, turning back to you he then took off his chest plate and laid it beside his gun. "I think it's safe to say you won again baby." Grinning widely you couldn't tell what made you happier, the fact that you won or that Dean called you baby twice in one day. Seeing you smile Dean reached forward to once again lay his hands on your waist, only this time he pulled your body tighter into his. Your faces were only inches apart, you watched as he looked from your eyes to your lips and back again. Laying your gun beside his you then wrapped your arms around his neck, "So what's my prize Winchester?" Resting his forehead against yours you saw his eyes light up slightly, "What do you want?" Deciding to draw out the moment a little longer you leaned your head back, "Hmm, how about, no laundry duty for a week?" The confusion on Deans face was almost comical, obviously that was not was he expected. You took a step back and removed your chest plate. Turning your back to Dean you laid it on the dresser as well and pretended to think hard. "Oh! What about I get to drive Baby next time we go on a hunt? Or even a foot massage? You know, I'm not really sure what I want," with this you turned back to face Dean. Walking past him and towards the bed you sat on the end and leaned back, your arms propping you up. "Do you have any suggestions?" At this Deans confusion turned into a devious smirk, quicker than you thought possible he walked to the bed and leaned over you until your back hit the bed. Hovering his body over yours you felt one of his hands rest beside your head, holding him up, while the other tightly gripped your waist, "I've got a few ideas Baby." Smiling you put your hands behind his head and pulled him down until your lips met. Sparks seemed to fire off in your body and you couldn't help the contented sigh that escaped your lips. After a moment Dean pulled back and smiled down at you, "Damn I'm glad we got a day off." Laughing you leaned forward to peck his lips once again, thinking how amazing today turned out. How'd I do? Personally the thought of a game of laser tag in the bunker with the Winchesters sounds AHHMAZING!
