Dean x Reader Unwanted guests arrive at the bunker while the men are on a case. All those channels and nothing to watch, you'd been channel surfing for what felt like hours but was only twenty minutes. Sam and Dean had been gone on a hunt a few towns over for two days now while you decided to hang back and relax. Already you had cleaned the bunker, organized the library, and even cleaned all the weapons you could find. Boredom was definitely your enemy now, switching off the TV you looked around the room growing frustrated. Pulling out your phone you decided to check in and see how the hunt was going. Scrolling down to Deans name you hit call and waited, three rings in a familiar voice answered. "Miss me yet?" Giggling you smiled wide and curled your legs under your body on the couch, "Nah, actually I was hoping to talk to Sam, really miss that big moose!" "Ouch, that one hurt babe." "Yeah well, how's the hunt going? You guys find the grave?" "Yeah lucky us it was an unmarked grave on the family land but we got it done. Actually heading back to the motel now gonna give it tonight to make sure we burned the right bones. How's my girl doing?" "Bored out of my mind, I really do miss you Dean." "I know sweetheart, we'll be home tomorrow, and then we can make up for the past few days. I know I've got a few ideas." Grinning you could practically hear his smirk, "Yeah I really think now would be a great time to start playing scrabble too!" A growl came over the phone and you laughed, "Y/N, I'll see you tomorrow baby, try and get some sleep tonight, your gonna need it!" Standing up and walking towards your bedroom you decided you wanted to hear that growl again, "Okay Dean, although I'm not really tired yet, maybe I'll just wear myself out first. You know now that you've got me all bothered and everything. Too bad your not here to do it yourself, oh well good night!" Just like you planned you heard Dean growl once more but then you ended the call. You couldn't help the smug grin on your face. Deciding a shower and bed didn't sound half bad you walked straight into the room you shared with Dean and grabbed your towel and pajamas. Just as you began walking down the hall you heard a loud bang and what sounded like the bunker door being thrown in. Freezing in place your hunter instincts kicked in, running barefoot you quickly made your way back up the hall and towards the main room. Peeking around the corner you saw what looked to be four men walk in. Your breath caught in your throat and you pulled back slightly, trying to stay out of sight. They began descending the stairs, taking in their surroundings. One with brown hair and a leather jacket stopped, cupping his face with his hands he yelled out into the room "Anybody home?" Staying quiet you watched as he shrugged his shoulders and continued walking inside, "Guess not, see boys what'd I tell ya. The Winchesters have all this going on, basically living the life of luxury for a hunter, while we just get to keep motel hopping and scraping by. I don't know about ya'll but I say we make ourselves at home." With that he walked forward and removed his jacket, laying it on a table. Another man walked around the edge of the room, surveying the bookshelves, "Yeah, about time the Winchesters were knocked down a peg. They may be famous hunters but that don't make em better than us." Turning around you decided you'd heard enough, running as quietly as you could you made your way back to your bedroom, shutting and locking the door behind you. The main door was the only way out besides the garage but you'd have to go through the main room to get to it. Throwing your stuff on the bed you immediately walked to your night stand, taking out your 9 mm you made sure there was a round in the chamber and the clip was full. Grabbing your phone you hit redial and waited anxiously for Dean to pick up. Two rings and his voice came through slightly amused, "What's wrong baby, feel bad about teasing me?" "Dean." Immediately he knew something was wrong, the panicked tone to your voice had him jumping up off the motel bed he had been laying on and grabbing his duffle bag, signaling Sam to do the same. "Y/N what's wrong?" Taking in a breath you moved around the room anxiously, trying to steady your breathing, "There are men in the bunker, they blew in the door and sounded like they don't plan on leaving anytime soon. Dean their hunters, and from the way they talk their not big fans of you and Sam." "Son of a b***h, Y/N where are you right now?" You could hear the impalas engine come to life and knew Dean was on his way, knowing that made you feel a lot better but you knew he still had to get here. "Our room, I've got my 9 and the doors locked. Dean there's four of them, and I can't get to the garage." Deans hand tightened on the steering wheel, "Okay baby I want you to listen to me, staying in there your a sitting duck. You know the bunker, use that to your advantage. Go to the boiler room down the hall and flip the breaker, then avoid them and get out. Call me when you get outside, your a damn good hunter babe, you can do it." Nodding you realized a moment later he couldn't see you, "Okay Dean, I'm going." "Be careful, no heroics, we'll be there soon!" You knew he meant it too, Dean was probably going ninety the whole way back. Taking a deep breath you unlocked your door, pulling it open slightly and listening hard for any sound of the men. Faintly you heard murmurs and footsteps but it sounded as though they were still around the main room. Pulling the door open the rest of the way you made your way down the hall and turned towards the room you needed. One inside you opened the panel box and flipped the main breaker, immediately the lights went out. The red emergency lights began flashing, Great this doesn't look like a scene from a horror movie at all. Of course my life's a horror movie so what should that matter? Chuckling to yourself you looked back out into the hall, you heard chairs moving as though someone had gotten up to walk around. No doubt they were going to check the power, this was your chance. You weren't scared, you fought and killed monsters for a living. But something about it being just people put you on edge, people were unpredictable. You stopped once you heard footsteps growing close and dove into the nearest room which happened to be the bathroom. Climbing into the tub you hid behind the curtain, you heard someone stop in front of the door but a moment later resume walking. Letting out a breath you stepped out and peered around the edge of the door, the coast was clear. Okay, kitchen is down the hall to the left, if I can get in there I can go through the door to the main room and the door to the garage is straight down from that. Once again you thanked Chuck you were barefoot, it made it much easier to move quickly and quietly. Reaching the kitchen door you didn't see or hear anything so you stepped inside, rubbing your sweating palms on your sweatpants. Holding the gun back up you padded across the floor, just then the lights all turned back on, they had found the breaker box. Looking out you didn't see anyone in the main room and broke out into a jog towards the garage door, just as you reached it you heard a voice ring out, "Well hello there, going somewhere?" Spinning around you immediately brought up your gun, steadily holding it pointed at the man you first saw earlier. His cocky grin pissed you off and your grip tightened. "You know, I know breaking and entering kinda comes with the job but this is going overboard don't ya think? What the hell are you guys doing here, this isn't your home." The man chuckled and looked down, he began walking slowly around the table and stopped at the edge. Leaning back against it and crossing his arms he seemed to study you. "Let me guess, your Y/N? I heard Dean picked up a stray but I never imagined he'd actually keep you around. He's got quite the rep for being the love em and leave em type, you must be something pretty damn special." The way his eyes raked over your body made a shiver run down your spine. "I think it's time you and your friends left, Dean and Sam will be back soon and their not gonna be happy about the intrusion." The man smirked and stood straight, "Oh I think we might just hang around, besides, this place just got a lot more interesting." His eyes flicked to something behind you but before you could react two arms circled your body and knocked the gun from your hands. Not missing a beat you grabbed hold of the arms across your chest and slammed your head back into the face of the man holding you. With a loud moan and a crunch he released his hold on you, dropping to the floor you once again picked up your gun and aimed it, going back and forth between the two men. You remembered there were two more somewhere and began backing up until your back was against a bookshelf beside the staircase. "Like I said, it's time for you to leave, now," You practically growled the words, never breaking eye contact. The man on the floor let out a few profanities and drew out his own pistol, aiming it at you, "You stupid b***h!" The other two men chose that moment to run back inside and take in the surroundings, you knew you were outnumbered but the pistol in your hands gave you confidence knowing if you had to you could do what needed to be done. "Leave! We're all hunters here, and there ain't any point in killing off each other. There are too many monsters in this world that need to be stopped. No harms been done, just go." The man standing by the table tilted his head, the expression on his face seemed like one you'd see when a kid finds a new toy, and it made you uncomfortable. He took a step forward, stopping as soon as you trained your gun back on him. "Actually, maybe your right, we did pretty much invade the place. We never meant to cause trouble, " with this he took another step forward. "We just kept hearing about this awesome bunker the Winchesters found and decided to check it out for ourselves, you know how it is baby, as hunters we never really get to call one place home. Just wanted to see what it was like for a bit, we'll leave." Something told you everything he just said was utter bullshit, never dropping the gun you began inching your way across the bookshelf, moving away from the staircase. Tilting the gun you motioned towards the door, "Go." The men all began walking towards the stairs, the one with the broken nose glaring at you and never lowering his gun. Once he reached the stairs he let the other two go up first, then followed, keeping his gun on you. The last man made it to the stairs and began climbing but stopped a few stairs up. Snapping his fingers he turned around, "s**t, you know I left my jacket on the table there, you mind tossing it to me beautiful?" The smirk he gave you made you wanna smack it right off his face. "Fine." Walking over you grabbed the jacket with one hand, never dropping your gun. Walking forward a few steps you swung your arm forward, throwing the jacket at him. Right then a shot rang out and you felt white hot pain in your arm. "f**k!" Dropping your gun down your left hand came up to grab your right arm, luckily it seemed the bullet only grazed you. Before you could process anything a fist came towards your face and you fell to the floor. You heard someone kick your gun away and laugh. "Damn baby, I'm telling you what you are one feisty woman, I love it." Looking up you shot the brown haired man a b***h face and slowly stood back up, "Get the f**k out now." Turning to shoot his friends a look that said 'Who the hell is this woman' he turned back to you and once again aimed a punch directly at your face. This time you expected it and ducked, bring your leg up to kick him in the groin. He leaned forward with a loud moan of pain, as you turned to run two of the other men grabbed onto you, fighting back as hard as you could you were able to get in a few good licks before they eventually overpowered you. They held you in place as the man slowly stood up, taking deep breaths. When his eyes met yours they were angry, "You know, I think we need to make a few things clear." Walking forward he stood staring into your eyes, meeting your hard glare with his own. Suddenly he reared back and punched you in the stomach as hard as he could, which felt pretty damn hard. All the air was knocked out of your body and the only thing holding you upright were the two men. "We are taking over this place, and everything in it. The Winchesters can't win every time, hell they've caused a lot of the problems we've had to deal with these past years. Always starting another apocalypse, dying and coming back repeatedly." As if to drive his point home he hit you again, this time your vision darkened slightly. "It's time someone knocked them down a peg. But don't worry," With this he grabbed you around your waist, taking you from the men and sitting you on the edge of the table, his hands tightened around you and you tried to move away from his hot breath on your face. "You can stick around baby, I think you'll find it quite nice here with me." "Get the f**k off me you asshole!" You kept pushing against his chest but it didn't seem to do anything. "I suggest you do as she says before we start spraying bullets." The new voice echoed through the room and your heart skipped a beat, looking up you saw Dean and Sam both standing on the landing in front of the doorway, guns trained on the room. Not missing a beat the man holding you twisted around until he was sitting on the table, you pulled against his body, effectively shielding him. "The famous Winchesters, nice to meet you boys. Lovely place you've got here, and the perks are well," he leaned his head forward and sniffed your hair causing you to lean away as far as you could. "Their not bad at all." You saw Deans eyes darken and his hand tighten on the gun, "Let her go, now." His voice was dead calm and it scared you more than if he had yelled, calm Dean was deadly. The other men seemed to realize this as they all gripped their own guns tighter. The one with the broken nose seemed to think enough talking had occurred and fired a shot towards Sam, the brothers both ducked back into the door way and began firing back. All hell seemed to break loose and the three men continued to fire at the doorway, as they did you felt yourself being lifted and thrown over someone's shoulder. "What the hell put me down! DEAN!" Your eyes met Deans as you were taken into the hallway, the man kept running looking for a way out. "Where the hell is the back door!" Struggling against him you kneed him in the chest as hard as you could making him drop you. Adrenaline coursed through your body making you jump up and begin kicking him in the stomach, "There isn't one! You and your friends came through the only door in or out!" As you went to kick him again he grabbed your leg and pushed hard on your knee, bringing you down to the ground. Climbing up your body he pulled out his own gun and held it to your forehead, stopping your movements. Faintly you realized the gun fire in the main room stopped but couldn't focus on anything but the barrel trained at you. "You really are something baby, too bad we never got a chance to get to know one another." Hearing him pull back the hammer you squeezed your eyes shut, waiting for the shot. A single shot rang out making you jump, a tear slipped from your eye but you realized you never felt anything. A weight was lifted off your chest and a rough warm hand held your cheek, "Y/N, sweetheart look at me." Opening your eyes you let out a breath you didn't realize you had been holding, giving Dean a small smile you laid your hand over his on your cheek. "Hey there." Dean kissed your forehead and helped you to stand, once you did he brought you into his chest, holding you tight. "No more staying behind on hunts." Nodding against his chest you grinned, "Deal, I got bored anyway." The rumble you felt in his chest as he laughed made you feel better, leaning back your eyes met his and saw the worry there. Before you could say anything Sam walked up, turning towards him you stepped away from Dean and hugged the giant moose. Taking a deep breath you looked towards the man lying on the floor, you couldn't help but feel sadness that the world lost three hunters tonight. A/N: I'm sort of conflicted on this one, what do you guys think? I just feel like in the show there are only a few times that other hunters show their displeasure about some of what happens with the brothers so just figured I would show another idea on that subject.
