Something Fun

Dean x Reader Just happy little fluff :) "Come on guys, we finally get a day off and this is how you want to spend it?" Sam sat researching lore on his laptop on one end of the table as Dean cleaned all his guns on the opposite end. Looking up from the screen Sam shrugged his shoulders, "Y/N, do whatever you want but I'm good here." Crossing your arms you shot him a glare. After weeks of non stop hunts today was the first in a long time there was no one to save and no where to go. Looking over at Dean you noticed he wasn't even acknowledging your presense, he was solely focused on cleaning a revolver. Throwing up your arms and rolling your eyes you turned and walked back to your room. Looking around you tried to think of something to do, something people do everyday in a normal life. Thinking it over you finally decided to go see a movie, that was something normal people did and you honestly couldn't remember the last time you were in a movie theater. Checking the times online for the theater in the closest town you began getting ready. After taking a shower you walked into your closet, searching for a moment you decided to dress comfy but cute. Pulling on a pair of leggings and an almost too big plaid shirt you knew was one of the guys you completed the look by pulling on your boots. Making sure to tuck a knife in one you then decided a small amount of makeup wouldn't hurt. Typically you didn't wear much but if you were going out for the day then why not look nice. After you were ready you grabbed your phone and wallet and made your way towards the garage. Walking past the main room you looked in the door and saw the boys in the exact same position as before. Rolling your eyes once again you continued towards the garage. Taking baby was out of the question, although it would be fun to see Deans face when he realized she was gone. Looking around at the other cars you decided on an old pick up. Grabbing the key from a cabinet by the door you jumped in and started the engine. At this point you were somewhat excited for a day out. No monsters, no lore, no looking over your shoulder, just a fun day. Smiling you pulled out of the garage and onto the highway. After driving for almost twenty minutes you arrived at the theater. Stepping out of the truck you turned your phone on silent and made your way towards the ticket window. Scanning the movie titles you were surprised at how many there were to choose from. There were a few you recognized from bilboards and some previews while watching TV in motels. What really caught your eye was one called The Expendables. Apparently Sylvester Stallone was in it so you knew it would be good. Buying your ticket and walking inside you stopped to admire the sight and sounds. Kids were running around excited and playing arcade games along the walls, and everyone looked generally happy. The smell of fresh popcorn made your mouth water and you made your way to the snack counter. Buying popcorn, peanut m&ms, licorice, and a soda you made your way into the theater. Not too many people were here, it looked to be two couples and one family. Making your way inside your hunter instincts made you sit in the very back row with your back against the wall. Pouring your m&ms into the popcorn bucket you smiled and settled into the seat. A few minutes later the lights dimmed and the screen lit up. Previews for more movies began playing, in your mind you were mentally checking off which ones to try and come back to see and which ones just looked stupid. Laughing at a particular preview you caught movement out of the corner of your eye, looking up you saw two figures walking down the row towards you. Once they were close enough you recognized their silhouettes. Confusion came across your face as Dean came up to sit beside you and Sam took the seat beside him. Leaning forward you tilted your head in confusion, "What are you guys doing here?" Dean leaned over and shot you a smile, "We realized you were right about needing a break, but when we did you had already left. We saw the movie times on your computer and figured we'd join in." Sam leaned across Dean to grab a handful of your popcorn, "We called but your phone must be on silent." Smiling you leaned back in your seat and prepared to watch the movie. Suddenly Dean lifted his arm to rest across your seat, grinning to yourself you leaned over to rest your head on his shoulder. You three spent the movie sharing popcorn and candy and laughing at the fight scenes. Halfway through Deans arm ended up around your waist holding you tight to his body. Your hand rested on his leg, fingers brushing the inside of his thigh. At one funny moment you laughed loudly and quickly tried covering your mouth in embarassment, looking over you noticed Dean was already looking at you and smiling. Taking your hand away you were glad the theater was dark so he couldn't see your blush. Before you could register what happened Dean leaned forward and placed his lips on yours in a sweet kiss. Pulling back you couldn't help but smile at him, laying your head back on his shoulder you thought about how great of an idea going to the movies had been.
