“Damn, work was rough today,” Anna said, walking towards her apartment.
Her right hand was on the door handle when she heard a door forced open. She snapped her head to look, almost snapping her neck in the process.
“What the f**k…” Anna cursed holding her head.
“Anna, Oh my God, I thought you were kidn*pped or dead, or something. Never stay out at night without informing me or your father of your whereabouts.” Gigi said, checking Anna’s face and body for any scratches.
“I'm fine mom, I was at Nora’s.”
“Oh okay, how is she?”
“She’s fine and I'm really tired, can I go get some sleep now?” Anna asked, sounding and looking tired from a wide Monday.
“Yes, yes of course,” Gigi said, letting go of Anna’s face. “Have you had dinner yet?”
