“What? What did you just ask me?” Brody chokes on air, struggling to breathe, coughing into his hands while his eyes begin to water. There’s nothing really to do if there isn’t anything to obstruct his airway except his own spit. He catches his breath, hastily grabs at his glass of water, downing it all in one shot.
