CHAPTER THIRTEEN We all sat quietly in a row on the plane, wearing headphones and watching three different movies on the backs of the seats in front of us. Mandy had finally given up pleading with Finn to let me go. She tried every possible solution she could think of, but Finn continued to repeat that he had to turn me in. It was the law. Finn and I hadn’t spoken since our kiss, and I couldn’t help but wonder if he felt anything for me. Was his silence because he, too, didn’t want to turn me in?
