A relentless tempest of dark ambition and ruthless cunning. It carried the essence of a god once feared, his name spoken only in trembling whispers and desperate prayers. He was Aetheron, the Eternal Shadow, the Lord of Illusions and Madness, the Sovereign of the Tenebrous Depths. His powers had spanned the cosmos, his mastery of foresight and manipulation placing him above all who dared challenge his reign. Yet, in the end, even gods could fall. He remembered the moment of betrayal. His most trusted disciples, the ones he had groomed and empowered, stabbing him in the back with their sharpened greed. Their faces twisted with false righteousness as they tore apart his domain and shattered his body. But they had not destroyed him. They had only freed him from the limitations of his mortal form. And now, in this abyss where only the strongest could endure, his soul endured. It thrived. Aetheron’s thoughts twisted and coiled, reliving every moment of betrayal, his desire for vengeance growing with each passing moment. But there was something else. A presence watching. A force beyond anything he had encountered. And then... a voice. “You are not meant to fade into oblivion.” The voice was neither kind nor cruel. It was... amused. As if watching an ant rise to challenge the stars. “I grant you a new life. One of potential beyond comprehension. The world you shall awaken in will be far greater than the one you once ruled. Use your gifts well, Aetheron.” “And remember... I will be watching.” The voice faded, but the presence remained. Aetheron felt his essence being pulled, twisted, reformed. Pain and power mixed into a singular sensation as his consciousness was dragged from the void and thrust into a new existence. And in that moment, Aetheron, the Eternal Shadow, was reborn
