C A L I S T A

"Thank you Ms. Laofeng, it was an honor to hear something from you." Amanda said, the brand ambassador of Chanel, I flashed a smile and raised my right brow while sipping a cup of tea.

"Of course Amanda, have you heard the saying that you can never go wrong with Chanel."I replied and she chuckled.

Working with several designer brands for 6 years wasn't as easy as others may think of. I work hard to get the position I have right now.

Others may see that I only received nice things without any exchange but it's not just how it works. I'm working with a lot of brands as their brand consultant. I give them advice about their product and help them with their promotion since I have a huge platform in media.

And because of my hardcore dedication and perseverance, I became one of those people who has been successful in this industry.

And now look at me, brands are chasing me to review and give comment to their products. Sila ang lumalapit at hindi na ako. That's because they know how I work.

"I agree. Anyway as much as I want to stay and talk with you, I have to go Ms. Laofeng, I have a meeting with the designers."Amanda said and I nodded. Parehas kaming tumayo at nagbesuhan. Nauna na siyang umalis habang naiwan naman ako sa kinatatayuan ko.

Napahinga ako ng malalim at kinuha ang bag ko. Pagkatapos ay tumungo ako sa restroom para mag retouch. Since today is not my haggard day, I have to freshen up.

When I entered the restroom, everyone glanced at me. Some of them are capturing photos of me but I just don't care. Aware naman ako sa kagandahan ko.

May napansin akong dalawang babae na halatang nai-intimidate sa prisensya ko. Lantaran ko itong tinitigan mula ulo hanggang paa.

First, combination of neon stripes and jaguar print is not acceptable, how can you walk outside  comfortably wearing those?

Napailing naman ako at tumungo sa vanity. Maiistress lang ako.

Habang nag aayos ako ng mukha ay biglang may tumawag sa aking cellphone.

Nang makita ko kung sino ang caller ay napataas ang isa kong kilay at napahinga ng malalim.

"What did you do?"bungad ko agad kay Mackenzie, ang half sister ko na walang ginawa kung hindi gumawa ng gulo.

She keeps on messing up. Her hobby is to destroy things and spend her time fooling around.

(I'm in the District police station, pick me up.)

Napatigil ako sa paglalagay ng lipstick at napahinga ng malalim.

"Why not dad? For Pete's sake it's your 6th times visiting the police station."I said with full of frustration.

Every time she's in the police station, I even have to call Ariadne from US to pull some strings just to get her out of the bars.

(Sis please? I'll pay you right after, just pick me up, hindi ko naman kasalanan na makabangga ng cheap vehicle)

Nangatwiran pa, lagi na lang ako sumasalo ng mga ginagawa niyang kalokohan,  why did I do to deserve her?

"Are you out of your mind?!"inis kong tanong. I saw the two strangers went outside. I sigh and made a poker face.

(Ate please? Alam mo namang ikaw lang ang nalalapitan ko. Promise I won't do anything that will piss you off..again.. so please?) She pleaded

At ano naman magagawa ko? She is my sister. Of course I have to help her kahit na lagi niya akong nabu-bwisit. Hindi ko naman matiis ang babaeng 'to.

Huminga ako ng malalim at napailing at chineck ang sarili ko sa salamin. "Fine, I'll fetch you. but this is the last time I'll fetch you at the Police station, if you did something again, I'll show no mercy at hahayaan kitang makulong, understood?"I explained at napatahimik ito, I can't stand her behavior anymore.

I ended the call and put my phone back in my bag. I wore my sunglasses and fixed my hair for the last time.

Agad akong sinalubong ng mga tao nang makalabas ako mula sa restaurant. Pinuntahan naman ako kaagad ng mga security ng area upang maayos akong makarating sa kotse ko. There are a lot of media and paparazzi strolling around just to take photo of me.

Napahinga naman ako ng malalim dahil sa sikip at pahirapan na paglakad. Luckily there are guards escorting me.

I pressed my car key and went to my Ferrari red car. Napahinga naman ako ng maluwag at inilagay ang bag ko sa shotgun seat the drove my car as fast as I can get away from the media.

Dhianne Mackenzie is an asshole. Nung mga bata naman kami ay hindi yan ganiyan. Ngayon lang nang lumaki- laki kami. And now look at her, experiencing same scenario with the same reason.

Gayunpaman ay hindi ko rin naman matitiis na makulong siya. Because aside from the fact that she is my half-blood sister, she also need to help me run the company of dad. Hello? ano yun? hahayaan ko lang siyang talikuran ang responsibilidad niya? ang bait ko naman para maging martyr.

I was driving in the middle of the skyway when my phone rang, kinuha ito habang nagmamaneho just to find out that it's Dad whose calling me. I can't help but to sigh, because I assumed that he already know what happened.

I answer the call and raised my eyebrow.

"Yes, Dad?"I answered the phone lazily.

(What happened to you Sister again, Calista?! I received a call to your Uncle James about her illegal drag racing!) My dad said and of course, He is mad.

"She destroyed a car, I'm on my way to downtown district to get her ass out."I answered and I heard a frustrated sigh and a pause. He's trying to calm himself. kelan pa ba kakalma ang matandang 'to?

(I want to see both of you at the house later! or else hindi niyo gugustuhin ang gagawin ko! understood?)

"Noted, calm yourself. I'll talk to her."I said without any expression and ended the call.

None of us can tame Mackenzie. She's a rebellious lady. It's giving him a satisfaction every time she enters a trouble.

I was about to shift my path when a Bugatti Chiron suddenly did an overtake. I forgot to switch gears that caused me to feel nervous and let go of my steering wheel.

"Oh f**k!"I groaned and closed my eyes because I was about to hit the signage.

Miraculously, naapakan ko pa ang break kaya hindi ito tumama masyado sa poste. But the front part of my car got destroyed.

Mabilis ang t***k ng puso ko at tila parang bumagal ang paligid ko. I almost kill myself!

Nang makita ko sa side mirror ko na napatigil ang kotse sa harap ko ay agad kong kinuha ang bag at gamit ko tsaka marahang lumabas.

Puyos na nagiinit ang aking mukha at inis na nararamdaman ko. Gago ba siya?!

Nang makalapit ako sa kotse ay agad kong hinampas ito ng malakas gamit ang dalawa kong kamay.

"Get out of the car, you bastard!"I shouted. I can't help but to shout. I am mad and shocked from what happened. Halos mamatay na ako!

Hindi ito sumagot kaya sa inis ko ay kahit mahal pa ang kotse niya ay hinubad ko ang 4-inch heels ko at malakas na binato ang salamin ng kotse niya.

"Hindi ka lalabas?! you almost kill me asshole!"I shouted.  Para akong bombang sumabog dahil sa galit. I almost meet my guardian angel dahil sa nangyari. Nasira pa ang favorite go-to car ko.

Bigla naman itong lumabas mula sa drive seat. Nakita kong lumabas ito na may suot na shades. Napaangat ang aking kilay nang mapansin ang kasuotan nito.

He's wearing a Christian Louboutin limited edition Vikram's men flat and her coat, which I assumed to be a Georgio Armani coat.

Magsasalita sana ulit ako nang bigla niyang tanggalin ang shades niya. My eyes widened as soon as I've realized who was the person that put me in a "Near death" experience.

"Ikaw na naman?!"I yelled dahil kaunti na lang sasabog na ang ulo ko. Damn! bakit ba lagi kaming nagkikita nito?!

But Instead of answering me first, he just gave me a smirk and stared at me.

"Well, It is nice to meet you again, Ms. Virgin."He teased while wearing a devilish smirk.

Bigla namang napaawang ang bibig ko sa inis at sinagot siya agad.

"You jerk! You almost killed me! hindi mo ba nakita?! nag over take ka alam mong papaikot ako tapos ngayon ikaw pa may ganang magyabang?!"I yelled. He looked at my car and return his eyes back on his car shield.

"You throw your shoe on my shield that cost a thousand dollars, should you give a compensation also?"He asked in such a boastful way.

Ang kapal talaga ng mukha nitong lalaki na 'to! Pagkatapos ilagay sa panganib ang buhay ko nagawa pa niya ako baliktarin?

I glared at him and grinned my teeth. He may look like demi God pero bagsak naman siya sa manners at attitude.

I put my hands on my waist and raise my eyebrow.

"Ikaw pa talaga ang may lakas na loob to sue me? nahilo ka ba?!"I yelled. napaiwas naman ito ng tingin at huminga ng malalim.

"Look, I'll pay for the repair of your car. If hindi pa sapat, I can recommend you with some of the greatest doctor I know to check upon you..besides, mukhang kailangan mo talaga."He said with his deep tone voice while looking at me. How dare he to insult me!

"You got my virginity and almost killed me just now. Ano ba talaga gusto mong mangyari?!"Inis kong batid at lumapit ako sakaniya.

He smirked for once again and move his face closer to me which stunned me.

A-anong ginagawa niya?

"If I tell you, will you give it?"He asked again in a serious tone. Sasagot pa sana ako nang biglang maraming bumusina saamin.

"Tignan mo ginawa mo?! this is all your fault!"I shouted. Sa sama ng loob ko ay hindi ko ito pinansin at kinuha ang aking sapatos at bag na kanina'y aking binato sakaniya.

"What are you doing?"He aske curiously but I ignored him. Now I have to find public transportation just to get at Downtown district.

Hindi ko na matagalan ang pagmumukha niya. I don't care if It'll kill my feet. Mas gugustuhin ko nang mag suffer sa init at sa sakit ng paa kesa makasama ang isang katulad niya. I can't stand that jerk.

Ano pa ba kamalasan ang dadalhin niya sa buhay ko? Alin pa ba ang hindi niya nagagawa para pestehin ako?

Huminga ako ng malalim habang dahan dahang naglalakad sa sidewalk, I'll just ask my assistant to take care of what happened and of course ask him for the payment of my car that he destroyed.

Habang naglalakad ako ay akmang kukuhanin ko ang aking phone sa aking bag para tawagan si Alice at asikasuhin ang gulo na ginawa ng lalaking yun nang maramdaman kong may sumusunod saaking kotse.

Napatigil ako at napalingon kung sino ito. Napabusangot nang mapansin ang kotse ni Kazuya,

"Stop pestering me and go! wag mo kong masundan-sundan."Inis kong batid at kinuha ang cellphone ko upang tawagan si Alice ngunit ayaw nito sumagot.

Huminga ako ng malalim at binilisan ang lakad ko.

"Look, fine it is my fault. Get nside. tell me where you'll go so I can drop you."He said while his car window is open and trying to talk to me. Hindi ko siya tinitignan at patuloy parin ako naglalakad.

Gosh Alice, don't tell me ngayon ka pa hindi naging available kung kelan emergency? I tried to switch the caller and called Maxima, but she also didn't answer."Gosh! wala ba talagang sasagot sa call ko?"I whispered, I couldn't contain but groaned.

"Calista look! just let me drive you. Konsensya ko pa pag may nangyari sa'yo."He said at agad akong tumingin sakaniya na may inis sa aking mukha.

"Wow! may kosensya ka pa talaga sa lagay na yan ha?! Should I give you a clap?! Thanks but no thanks! tutal sanay ka namang mang-inis!"I said sarcastically and tried my best to walk.

Kahit pinagtitinginan na kami ng mga tao at marami nang nakakakilala saakin ay wala akong pakielam. Because I didn't do anything and he does. Kaya wala akong dapat ikahiya.

Ilang minuto na akong naglalakad at ilang minuto niya narin akong sinusundan. My feet is starting to get hurt. I sigh and tried my best to walk when I stepped on a rock which caused me to slipped.

Napatili ako at dapat ay susubsob ako nang bigla akong mapahawak sa poste.

Gosh! my foot hurts!

"f**k!"He shouted and went outside from his car.

"You are such a hard-headed woman! I told you to go inside and you don't listen!"He said and seems like he is very annoyed, wow so kasalanan ko pa?

Napairap naman ako at sinubukang makatayo ng maayos, when he was about to assist me, I stopped him and looked into his eyes

"Pwede ba! enough of pestering me at umalis ka na! you're annoying!"I shouted and tried to stood up but my feet hurts, I think I twisted my foot.

"Stop being a spoiled brat!"He said. I notice he's pissed. Magsasalita pa sana ako nang bigla akong buhatin nito na agad naman akong napatili.

"Hey! what are you doing! ibaba mo nga ako!"Inis kong sabi pero bigla akong nagulat nang akala ko ay ilalaglag ako nito.

Napapikit at napatigil dahil akala ko ay ilalaglag niya ako.

"Pag nagsalita ka pa, ilalaglag na talaga kita."Matigas at seryoso ang boses nito. Napatikom na lamang ako ng bibig dahil mukhang galit na ito.

Whatever! kasalanan niya lahat ng 'to! Makapagsalita siya kanina ang yabang niya and nung lumayo na ako,  sunod naman ito ng sunod.

Nang maipasok niya ako sa kotse ay nakasimangot na ako.

Nang makapasok siya sa kotse ay sinimulan niya ng paandarin ang makina nito at ipaharurot ito.

"Where should I drop you?"He asked without looking at me. huminga ako ng malalim at tumingin sa kawalan.

"Downtown District."batid ko na lamang at tila napatigil ito at napatahimik.

"Why? are you going to sue me?"He asked but I just rolled my eyes.

"Pwede naman. gusto mo ba?"I asked him back but he didn't answer.

"I have to fetch my sister."Batid ko na lamang. Baka akalain niya talaga na ipapakulong ko siya..

"What about her?"He asked. ang dami namang tanong ng lalaking 'to.

"She destroyed a car for the 6th time and I have to bail her."Wala kong ganang sagot. Pinagkrus ko ang braso ko dahil hindi ako komprotable.

"So may pinagmanahan pala ang tigas ng ulo."Mahina niyang batid. Agad naman akong napatingin at tinaliman ito ng tingin.

"I heard you."I answered

"At least ako matigas lang ulo ko, unlike sa'yo, napaka yabang mo, kulang na lang palitan mo ang demonyo sa impyerno.."Bulong ko habang nakatingin sa daan.

"I have to agree with that, you did entered my room just to experience my demonic ways, remember?"He asked at biglang namang nag init ang pisngi ko habang nanlaki Ng mata ko.

"E-Excuse me?! I'm drunk at that time."I said while refraining myself to stutter.

Totoo naman eh. I was drunk and went to a wrong room, sino bang tanga ang papasok sa maling kwarto na sober?

"Lame reasons.."He exclaimed. Pinakukulo talaga dugo ko!

"Pwede ba?! Stop pestering me, asshole! hindi ka nakakatuwa."Inis kong sabi at inirapan siya,. Maling- mali talaga na pumayag akong magpahatid sakaniya.

He is bossy, pretentious, ruthless and maniac person! hinding hindi ko siya siya gusto in all angles kahit na siya pa ang pinakagwapo at mayaman sa mundo.

I don't care if he has smooth and silky skin, brown hazel eyes and kissable lips. Kahit na magaling siyang manamit at mayaman siya kaysa saakin, i don't give a damn.

"At least i don't act like a kid nor a spoiled brat."He stated.

"I also don't like you, don't worry."I said and shut my mouth.

Namayani ang katahimikan sa buong kotse kung kaya't bigla akong dinapuan ng antok at bago pa ako makatulog ay may narinig akong bulong.

"Crazy woman..."bulong niya and I slept.
