I went over the notice several times, looking for a loophole before it slapped me in the face. "It said 'immediately cease and desist any future public events'."
"Yeah…" Luna moved closer, her side flush with mine.
"It doesn't say anything about private events." Her finger ran over the words as she read under her breath. "All we have to do is make the next event invite only and hold it on private property, and we should be clear."
"Do you really think we can get away with that?"
"Maybe, but even if they shut it down, we have a decent argument. The council likes to take rules literally instead of how they were intended. If nothing else, we could get one more event before we'd have to get real creative."
