   The search party from the West continued to search for Gizza and her horde. Gizza knowing that invading North palaces was suicide decided within her to attack sites in the North and rescue as many slave women as they could instead, to enlarge their army. She was riding with the rest when she stopped and got down from her horse. She approached the Queen of Arika and asked her to get down from her horse. The Queen got down and she asked her in the glaring of the rest, "swear your loyalty to me and to this group"

"I can't do that. You and your people butchered my husband and chased my son out of his father's palace. Asking for my loyalty is wickedness" said the Queen.

"Choose then. Choose your death or your loyalty to me" said Gizza as she positioned her sword to stab the Queen if she made the wrong choice. The Queen looked at the sword and looked back at the rest. Zina was looking at her too. She turned her face back, knowing that she had to remain alive to see her son again. She nodded and said, "my loyalty is yours"

Gizza raised the sword and said, "swear by the sword and kiss it" The Queen hesitated before doing so. Gizza put back her sword and kissed the Queen on the lips. "Welcome to the sisterhood. All men must die"

"All men must die" responded the Queen.

"All men must die" responded the rest except Zina who was staring into space. Gizza was observing her strange behavior and turned to see what Zina was looking at but didn't see a thing. "Zina" she called her name but Zina was still staring. She walked up to her and touched her leg. Zina fell from the horse and fainted. The rest jumped down and rushed to her. "What is happening to Zina" they asked one another. Just then one of the slave women saw some of the search party sent after them by the West approaching. She shouted and the rest drew their swords. Gizza threw a sword to the Queen and she caught it. They readied themselves for battle. The search party were riding towards them and screaming in anger.

The most powerful and richest kingdom in the north named Kanju welcomed Prince Davi and Nabel in the palace as their own. Prince Davi looked at Nabel as the king of Kanju excitedly asked the prince to take a seat. "Other kings and rulers of the North are still on their way back home to the North from the ruins Gizza inflicted on your father's kingdom in the West. The West has always been so good to Kanju, to the North as a whole. How can I turn the prince of Arika away? Your father was a great man. Pity how those slaves butchered him. But not to worry. We received reports that the female slaves are heading North. One thing they fail to understand is that the North palaces are well protected unlike the West's. We will be ready for Gizza and her army of savages. When we capture them we will deliver them to the West to be done with as pleased". Said the king of Kanju. 

Nabel sighed. The king looked at her, " is this your wife to be?" Asked the king.

"No" answered Davi as he stood up and walked out of the visitors chamber, leaving the king alone with Nabel. The king sighed. Nabel followed Davi and met him standing alone outside and looking towards the golden palace of Kanju kingdom.

"That was disrespectful; leaving the King's presence like that. Davi...sorry, my lord, I have not heard or seen you show or say a word of affection to me. I like you. I don't know if it sounds alright in your ear but I'm doing all these because I like you. Maybe I love you"...

"Stop it!" Shouted Davi. Nabel was shocked at his outburst. "You think I'm a fool right? You and your kind laid my lands to waste and you stand here and confess love to me? My mother would probably be dead by now. Do you know what she means to me? Do you know what Arika means to me? I was kind to you and your so called slave mates. And you were blind, too blind to see that I didn't do that because I loved you. I could do it for anyone" those words from prince Davi hurt Nabel like a sword in the heart. She didn't know when tears fell from her eyes. She blinked her eyes severally and managed to ask. "Does it mean...you mean you never liked me?"

"Yes. If I'm to be asked to choose between you and your friend Gizza I would have chosen Gizza but alas she dispointed my love for her. She was the reason I came to the dark room to bring you food while in the camp at Arika. I never loved you Nabel. Right now I will take it from here" the prince said, looked towards the door of the visitor's chamber and said to the king of Kanju, who was standing there and watching them, "by the power vested in me as the crown prince of Arika and for the sake of the love you share with my father I implore you to arrest this woman for treason"

The King of Kanju immediately declared an arrest for Nabel. Nabel was arrested immediately.
