The king rose and gave Ube a hug and then gave him the permission to go ahead and make the arrangements and prepare the Mozon army and lead them to war against the Getu, retrieve his wife, the Queen of Mozo from them and bring the head of the king of Getu to him. Ube had bowed before the king and as he was walking out the guards positioned on the at the entrances were looking at him as though they had seen a god, yet Ube was a god in human flesh.
At night Ube's wife could not sleep as she worriedly became restless. Ube notice this and sat up on the bed, drawing his wife closer to him. Ruty was his wife's name and it was said that Ruty was the descendant of the goddess of beauty. Her beauty was remarkable and people said she was the most beautiful maiden in the land of Mozo. Her marriage with Ube had been one of the biggest things that happened in the land of Mozo for it was the gods that brought them together. Ruty had been sent to the warlord to deliver to him the water for his hands as it was in their law that when a man was ripe for marriage the maidens of the land who would want to become his wife would take a bowel of water to his house for him to wash his hands and when the man was done washing and he liked the lady that brought him the bowel of water he would then by himself wash the girl's hands in the same bowel. That would serve as a covenant before the gods and then the other celebrations necessary for a man about to marry would take place. The story had it that when Ruty took her bowel of water to Ube's house he was with the chiefs of Mozo who had come to remind him of the war trip he was to embark on with the King's soldiers the day after and were there to enquire from him the necessary things needed to be done in order for the people of Mozo to appear victorious in the battle. When Ruty had greeted the chiefs and had bent down for him to wash his hands, Ube had dashed his hands and just as he was about to indicate his interest in her by washing her own hands the bowel lifted itself up in the full glare of the chiefs and began to pour Ruty on her head. Ruty had closed her eyes as the water graced her body. Ube had stood up and hugged her.
