377 Words
The king of Mozo was seated on his throne when it was announced that Ruty had come to the palace and was now waiting to be ushered in. The king asked the guards to send her in and before long she was sent in and she stood before the king of Mozo. The king then began to praise her husband before her and Ruty was smiling yet she wanted to know why she had been asked to come. After a while the king asked that Ruty be taken to his private aboard where he would like to speak with her alone. Ruty felt that there was more to this but she obeyed and followed the guards who showed her the way to the private chamber of the king. There she sat and waited. Shortly the king of Mozo entered and sat with her, facing her and trying to make sure that she could look into his eyes. Ruty was becoming uncomfortable with that glare and she was forced to ask, "Why have I been called here my king. I was led to believe that my husband has led the army of Mozo to war and being invited here all of a sudden raised my heartbeat. I hope there is no problem my king?" "No, no there is no problem dear. There is no problem at all. You should be comfortable while being attended to" The king said and the maids were asked to go and get Ruty all that she needed to eat but Ruty said she was not ready to eat anything and that she was so eager to hear what the king of Mozo had to say to her. The king then cleared his throat and began. "You see Ruty I leant that your husband has a lot of concubines and that he..." Before the king could continue Ruty cut him in with "What?" The king smiled and continued, "You did not know about this? He has other women and this is why I have decided to help you out of this mess that you have found yourself in. You should be living in this palace with me and not with a man that has got his hands on other women" said the king. .
