Immortal 10

Episode 10

Jake watched helplessly as Tracy and the Princess were captured by the patrol team from the red village. He knelt and watched as the soldiers dragged them away. The girl stood at Jake's back with her hands covering her face in regret.

"Jake" she called him but Jake wasn't saying a word.

"Jake. Have I committed something terrible? Have I deprived you of something I don't know. Why are you weak and strange. Jake I'm so sorry if I have betrayed us"

Jake slowly stood up, turned to face the girl and said, "I have lost it. My powers are gone. Tracy and the Princess are not safe. But do you know what bothers me the most? Kezeya is doomed. Whatever is the reason for what the one eyed man is planning he is going to succeed. I messed up. We are messed up" Jake went and sat on a log.

"Jake" the girl called his attention but Jake didn't look at her.

"Jake do you know I'm a red person?" I was captured from the red village by slave traders to Kezeya as a slave before you saw me, bought me and became good to me and the rest of my friends that are dead now except Tracy whom I know your heart belongs to. If you can tell me the name of the power you possessed maybe I can know how you can get it back" pleaded the girl.

Jake who had been looking at her surprisingly especially when she revealed she was a red person shook his head and answered her, "It is the power of Immortality"

The girl was shocked when she heard this. She slowly approached Jake after standing there for a long time, lost in her thought. She came to Jake's face and knelt in front of him.

"I'm sorry. But you must be strong. You must rescue Kezeya. Kezeya can't be doomed because of me and the Witch who pretends to protect the entire world is evil. I believe in you" she stopped saying and drew out a dagger from Jake's sheath, held Jake's hands with it as Jake watched in confusion. Suddenly she stabbed herself with the dagger with Jake's hands still clutching on it. Jack wanted to withdraw his hands but it was too late. The girl fell with blood all over her body.

"Please don't die" said Jake.

"You are a good man. I loved you but my personal interest is only going to stand on your way. My death will make things right. Don't let love stand on your way" she finished saying and died. Immediately she died the power of immortality returned, overtook Jake and flung him to the ground. He stood up more powerful than before.

Looking at the girl as she laid dead on the ground he said, "your death was the only way I could get back my powers. You knew this and so you courageously took your own life"

He bent down and kissed her forehead. "I honor you. Now it is time to change the world.
