THE MISSION 14

Adere, Shante, Shuru and Adere's mother found themselves in the place called The Skull. The place that was believed to be the place where the beast first existed and the place people believed to be his home.. Adere and his people were not aware of this but it was actually fate that brought them to The Skull. Adere motioned to the rest that they needed to rest and they sat. Adere's mother sat beside her and Shuru and Shante aside. Adere's mother wanted to find out from her son if he had any feeling for Shante and when she whispered this question in his ear Adere could not hold himself from smiling. He could not believe that his mother still found a reason to ask questions like that even in their condition. He chuckled again and then was forced to ask, "What do you want to know mother?" Adere asked.

"The answer to my question Adere. I see the way she stares at you as though her love is covering you like cloud. It seems she is dancing to the rhythm of your handsomeness but I must find out from you if you feel the same for her" The mother was saying this and Adere found it so funny.

"Mother how do you know all these?" asked Adere.

"I know things my child. I am your mother and I know that you might not have seen this but I have seen it and I also know what it can mean when the love of a woman is rejected and thrown to the wind. This girl is speak of likes you and she probably loves you and that is why you have to make sure that you be careful with her her. Is that okay with you?" Asked the mother and Adere's whose attention was no longer with what his mother was saying was staring at a pot that suddenly stood in the center of the compound of The Skull. Adere stood up and the rest joined him. They had also noticed the pot and Adere was moving closer to the pot to see what was inside. Upon his nearing the pot the rest screamed and Adere's mother fell down and fainted. Adere had disappeared with the pot and the rest were as shocked as ever. They wondered what happened and were looking around themselves. Just then a very young girl approached them and as sh asked her question she was actually asking Shuru and Shante. "You both know where you are?" asked the girl and Shante and Shuru shook their head. "You both know me?" asked the young girl again and the both shook their heads.

"Good, I must tell you that your friend is taken to where he well be tested and also punished for what he has done" said the young girl and Shante wanted to know what the young girl was talking about. The young girl laughed and her voice echoed in the air. She was actually looking at both of them and they could see that her eyes had turned red but she had not stopped speaking. The young girl made them understand that the place they were standing on is called The Skull and that the power that looked after The Skull had been taken away by the king of Aba. If the king of Aba had taken the beast then he had taken the weapon real hero of the Aba would have used and this has it's consequences. "We helped Adere to have the visions of the seed of power. We led him spiritually to his father's maternal home where he found the seed of power and instead of coming here as his destiny was told he chose to return to the palace of Aba and stupidly gave up the seed of power. Now that the seed of power had fallen into the wrong hands the person in possession of it is going to attack the good people of the world. These good people include you and everyone you love. You should not remain standing here and waiting for Adere because he will not be returning to you any time soon but then we will train him for what lies ahead for even the beast and the king and the one that loves him will turn against him and this woman on the ground, his mother, a kind and loving mother, may you have the strength and the wisdom to know what to do and do it" The young girl disappeared and immediately she disappeared Adere's mother woke up and looked around, only to see Shante and Shuru standing before her. She stood up immediately and remembering of what happened to her son and how he disappeared she went and held onto Shuru and kept begging him to tell her what happened. The two had to take her away from the skull and kept on calming her down.
