Warriors 2

   Gizza refused to eat the food Prince Davi brought.  

Nabel was terribly hungry and she had to eat. In the night, Gizza sat still, eyes unfocused as she kept repeating the phrase " *all men must die* ". Nabel sat closer to her and placed her head on Gizza's shoulder and made her a promise, " I will follow your footsteps dear friend"

They sat that way till the next day when the soldiers came in and dragged them out to mix them up with the rest of the ladies as they were all separated from their husbands and children and taken to the coal to mine. The hungry women were given axes and forced out of the camp while their husbands tried to fight. The men were beaten mercilessly by the angry soldiers of Arika. Most of the men died in the process.

In the King's room the Queen was restless. She was pacing while her husband was removing his royal regalia.

"Women to mine while men are beaten to death?" She appeared very angry.

"Women will mine. Men will die" said the king.

"Why" the Queen asked.

"Why? Because I'm king that's why. Women slaves will not grow to challenge my rein while men...men are a lot of trouble. My decision is final. Men slaves will die while women slaves be forced down to the sites to mine the coal. Now I need to rest" the king of Arika said and laid down to rest.

In the camp, prince Davi visited the hut but could not find Gizza or Nabel. He asked one of the soldiers and learnt they were taken alongside the rest of the women slaves to the sites to work.

"Where are the men slaves?" The prince asked.

"Killed and dumped in the abyss my prince" said the soldier before he bowed and left. Prince Davi was enraged as he made his way to his father's chamber. When he entered he met his mother and father on bed almost half naked and started shouting angrily and scattering the whole room. At some point he drew his father's sword from it's shealth which he hung on the wall and pointed it towards his parents. The Queen was scared while the king could not believe the monster his only son had turned into. They both got down from the bed and raised their hands.

"Is your wife not a woman?! Why are you sending those innocent and hungry women and mothers to the site. You are heartless father! And here you are mother, on bed with the man you don't believe in!!!" Prince Davi was really mad with rage.

"He is my husband!" the Queen cried. "Please drop the sword my son" she begged.

"I hope you understand the consequences of your actions son. To threaten your king is an offence punishable by death" said the king but Davi came closer, making sure his father could feel the coldness of the sword. "You don't deserve to be my father" prince Davi said before letting go of the sword. The soldiers who had run inside arrested him. The Queen knelt down immediately before the king and pleaded for his mercy but the king commanded the soldiers to put Prince Davi in a cell to await trail.

At the site, Gizza, Nabel and the rest of the women who could no longer say the whereabouts of their children worked for two months. During those months Gizza trained with work instead. Others worked while Gizza trained. The soldiers guarding them laughed at her foolishness. During those months Nabel was busy whispering to the rest of the ladies. At nights they had secret meetings and planned ahead. Gizza headed each meeting with Nabel clarifying the rest. The women had become stronger due to the nature of their work at the mine. They were over two hundred in number and the idea was to attack the guards at the site, collect their weapons and move to the palace of Arika and destroy it.

Gizza never disclosed again to anybody that her major aim was to eradicate all men from planet earth and Nabel kept it to herself too. 

One morning, Gizza and Nabel prayed to the gods of Mobi and prepared themselves for the attack. The rest of the women knew that the attack will take time by midnight and they too got ready. The rest of the women knew that the attack will take time by midnight and they too got ready. Throughout that day they worked in the site as though they had no deadly plan.

As they continued to work that day Nabel was scared, not because of the planned attack but because she was developing feelings for the crown Prince of Arika. His face keeps appearing in her mind. She fought so hard to remove him from her thoughts all to no avail.

In the palace of Arika, the crown prince was still in cell while his mother cried every day, begging her husband to show mercy.
