The birth of a child is always a happy occasion. It does not matter if you come from a rich or poor family. Constance Maria Vitaly was born in a family of peasants. She was born into a family of love. Her father Francesco and her mother Isabella took great care in raising her. They both worked doing different things. Her father was a musician and her mother were a seamstress. Constance grew up to be a beautiful girl. She had long golden blonde hair that reached the middle of her back. Her eyes were a bright blue color. Her lips a pale pink, her cheeks rosy and her skin pale. She was about f five feet four inches tall and weighed about a hundred and twenty-five lbs. She had curvy hips and her breasts were a good size. They were large enough that she had to wear a corset two sizes too big and even then, they were still barely held at bay. She kept her hair back and wore simple dresses made by her mother. By the time she was fifteen she had shown extraordinary artistic talent. Her father always made sure she had plenty of art supplies even if it meant extra work for him to get the money. She was a wonderful sketcher and painter and her biggest goal was to find and apprentice with the famous artist Giotto. She loved his work and wanted to learn from him. She worked har to get better at her artwork. When she finished her chores, she began painting. Then one day her father brought her a special letter. A woman, a wealthy one had seen her work and wanted to purchase it. Constance happily wrapped up the painting and with her father she delivered the painting and earned her first bit of money for her art. Her father had her save it for when she needed more supplies. When they returned home, she set to work on another painting this one was even better than the last one. Constance had plans but to carry them out she would need a wealthy benefactor. She began displaying her paintings at her mother's place of work and people began buying them. Time was flying by and her sixteenth birthday was fast approaching. She was excited, word had gotten out and she had been told that her father had gotten word to Giotto. With luck he would need an apprentice, but there was an obstacle. Being a woman, it would be hard to convince Giotto to take her as his apprentice, most professionals only used male apprentices. Constance hoped with all her heart that her artwork would speak for itself and show him how talented she truly was. Constance was determined to convince him. He could teach her so much more than she already knew. The day of her birthday came quickly. And nothing could prepare her for her surprise visitor.
