She was hot. He couldn't deny that fact.
He had caught a glimpse of her boobs the moment he walked in, and was mesmerized by how full it was. Still, his expression remained indifference.
"What the hell are you doing in my room?!" Emilia yelled, clutching her hands to her chest, and Adrian snorted.
"What are you hiding? It's my house and you're my wife. I can come in anytime I want and you shouldn't hide from me, what already belongs to me" He emphasized.
Emilia shook her head vigorously in denial. "No way. I'm not yours and courtesy demands you knock before coming in. You need to learn to respect my privacy if you want peace."
Adrian chuckled slightly, he could tell the word *peace* was far from him, but he didn't mind playing along.
"Not in my house, Brownie. Here, you follow my rules and do whatever I say" He said, and clicked his tongue.
Emilia was running out of impatience as she waited for him to leave. She couldn't take it any longer and berated him. "What else do you want? And for the umpteenth time, my name is not Brownie. Leave!"
"Not so fast, Brownie" Adrian said, laying emphasis on the nickname to annoy her further. He loved seeing her angry and had plans to make it as frequent as possible.
"What else do you want?" Emilia snarled.
"Isn't it obvious? It's our wedding night. We should enjoy it" Adrian replied with a playful voice, he inhaled sharply to hold the laughter threatening to erupt from his stomach, he loved how quick Emilia's beautiful face turned red hot.
"You're crazy!!" She barked.
Cold sweat trickled down her spine as she took his words seriously, her body began to shiver, she looked around for a place to run to for safety but found none.
"I know, Brownies. Like I said earlier this is just the beginning" Adrian snickered, and took steps forward, Emilia was shaken to the core as she took several steps back until she hit the wall.
Adrian took hold of this opportunity and placed his hands on both sides on the wall, locking her in place.
Emilia was apprehensive as she tried to avoid his gaze.
"Look at me, Brownie* Adrian whispered, and Emilia shuddered from the hot breath tickling her ear, she refused to heed his orders.
"I won't give in to you. You're not my type" Emilia yelled at the top of her lungs, she closed her eyes and bent her head.
Adrian was rendered speechless by her outburst. Not her type? He found that hard to believe. Women threw themselves at him despite him being terrifying.
"I'll make you eat your words" He said, smirking, and Emilia scoffed.
He let her go and took a step back to give her breathing space, he stared at her for a moment, his expression unreadable.
As he turned to leave, he made one thing clear. "I'll be back for what's rightfully mine."
The door was slammed, hurting Emilia's ears. She sat on the bed, and her head was flooded with different imaginations of what could possibly happen.
Another person walked into the room, but this time, it was a maid.
"I was told you needed help with your dress" She said, and Emilia sighed in relief.
"Yes, I do. It's a whole lot of stress" Emilia replied.
The maid helped her loosen the tie and the dress fell freely to the ground. Instantly, the blaring sound of music filled the air and Emilia was taken by surprise.
"What's going on?" Emilia questioned.
The maid paused folding the dress and answered. "Oh, the men are celebrating your wedding. It's the after party we planned."
Emilia had a bad feeling in her heart as she probed further. "I hope I won't be forced to attend?"
"No, madame. Even the lord himself won't be attending" the maid replied.
Immediately, the bad feeling was dispelled. Emilia put on a black off shoulder jumpsuit with a jacket and laid on the bed.
"You must be hungry. I'll get you your dinner" the maid said, and turned to leave.
"Wait!" Emilia said, and the maid halted her steps.
"What's your name?" Emilia asked, her voice packed emotions as she waited for a reply.
The maid bowed in reply. "I'm not worthy, but since you asked, I'll tell you. My name is Michelle."
Emilia was upset with the undeserved respect she was getting, but she had not the strength to argue, she simply waved her hands and the maid left.
What occupied her mind right now was the message from the unwanted guest and her father's safety. She was even more worried about Adrian's threat.
Was he really going to touch her? She hadn't been with a man before and she wondered if telling him the truth will save her the trouble.
The maid cams back with a sumptuous meal specially prepared for her.
"Where's he?" Emily asked out of nowhere.
The maid was thrown into confusion. "Who? The lord?" She inquired, and Emilia nodded.
"He hasn't left his room since he left yours" She replied.
Emilia lost her appetite and only managed a bite of the meat. She didn't even know when she fell asleep.

*I must have scared the hell out of her* Adrian thought to himself, he chuckled and sat upright on his bed. Someone knocked, Adrian gave his permission, and the door opened, two men walked in and bowed.
Adrian frowned seeing their expressions, but he was more concerned about the noise coming from the first floor.
"Tell them to keep it down" He said, and puffed smoke from his pipe.
One out of the two men in the room bowed and replied. "I'll do that right away."
Adrian placed his pipe on the table and fixed his gaze on the trembling man before him.
"Out with it" He ordered.
"My Lord, there's.... There's a..a problem" the man stuttered in reply, and Adrian grabs a gun from his bedside and c****d it.
"If you stutter again, a bullet hold will be drilled into your head" He warned.
The man quickly stood upright and inhaled sharply. "Rosa is back."
The temperature in the room instantly dropped the moment that name echoed in the room. Adrian's indifferent expression made it extremely difficult to decipher his thoughts, but those who knew him would know he was angry.
"What did you say?" He asked, he stood up and walked towards the man who was about to pass out due to fear.
"Rosa is back. She's in the receiving room" the man repeated.
Adrian remained silent for a while before speaking. "Keep her there. I'll see her tomorrow morning."
