When she woke up, her shoulder burned under a swaddling of bandages. She was in a hospital room, and it was night. The room was lit only by the blinking green indicators on the medical machines, and the washed out light from the street lamps outside the building. The remnants of her dream still lingered—the voices, the singing. She was alone. She panicked. Where was everyone? Where was Ben? Felix? Where was she?
