"What's that?! "
Still aghast with the sudden appearance of the huge creature, Seth kept his mouth short, shivering upon the dusty sands. The creature was so ominous to the extent that Seth almost beseeched, even without it performing any action.
Its question was still on air, though, Seth refused to let a word out of his mouth. Its storming voice was hugely bassy and was capable of replenishing the whole desert.
After Seth's silent response, the gigantic creature finally showed itself. First, it was his right feather, then, half of its body, and later, its whole.
Seth's eyes widened the moment he glanced at the huge creature. He was on the mountaintop of pure trepidation. At a point, he calmed himself and attempted to examine its features.
The creature has two lengthened black feathers with sharp pointed silver-colored fingers attached at its edge. Its dark eyes were as wide as a cherry fruit with its pale pointed nose. Its brown-skinned flesh was covered with darkness, showing the contents of its heart. At its feet, sword-like claws tipped it seven long fingers, thick and strong.
At this point in time, he now knew what his eyes were seeing.
'An Evil angel! What is it doing in the dream of a descendant of Good like me?", he mumbled, balancing his hips on the muds.
Seth's blonde hair had already been smudged by brown specks of dust. He had never witnessed such kind of bizarre nightmare since he began to dream consistently. Fear was written all over his fair-skinned face at that instant.
Even the system had kept quiet since the angel asked that question. As a dormant level system, it was pretty sure that it could be easily destroyed by the Evil angel. It'd better keep shut and watch out for what the Fated Reviver would do.
The angel was putting on a guile smile on its unattractive oblong face. Its step on the ground was as though a huge rock had fallen from atop a tall mountain, rolling down a slippery slope with a high acceleration.
Finally, the angel let out some words, "Hey boy, aren't you delighted to see me". Now, Seth already realized that it wasn't one of the beasts or goblins. It was a human-like male angel which makes it a He.
The hairless big angel strolled close to Seth still giggling with an unpleasant expression. Right from the moment Seth was told about the earthly angels, he hated Wormwoods the most. The word he would always say was "How would an angel call himself a worm and a wood at the same time?". Then, "So weird" follows the sentence.
'Screw you b***h son! ', he thought, showing a face of fear on the outside.
Wormwoods chuckled and halted his movement, glancing at Seth as though looking at a cockroach.
"If you think you can say something inside you without me hearing it, then you should be messing around with yourself", Wormwoods said.
'Huh!', Seth muttered and spoke out, "Huh, you are... He—hearing me?".
Wormwoods nodded positively. Since he seemed to have not tried to hurt Seth, they at least, exchanged chats — not that running away was going to do him any good. But yet, he was still curious. That's presumably what any human would do when they see any Evil creature, an angel at that.
After reckoning when Wormwoods asked "What's that? ", he truly believed that the evil angel could hear someone's internal words. Because he heard the words of the system.
Seth summoned courage, placed his palms on the gold sands, and stood up. He wanted to say something inside him but he knew that saying it out and saying within were pretty much the same in the presence of Wormwoods.
'Whatever!', he thought and glared at the angel, half scared and half courageous.
"What are you doing in my dream... Mr Wormwoods? You shouldn't be here!"
Although, his actions were different from his looks, but Wormwoods also saw the courageous potential in Seth. After all, he had expected it from an irreversible human like Seth. For his temptation to have a free flow, he has to be a bit friendly. This was his only chance — if he lose Seth now, he loses him forever.
"Ummm! Your dream? ", Wormwoods asked, as though he didn't know that he was in someone's head.
"Yes' my dream", Seth answered. Another amount of courage was added to his mind at this time. He already knew Wormwoods was going to entice him, but he wanted to hear his response.
"Oh! That?". Wormwoods smiled again and walked closer. Regardless of his massive self, Seth still stood firm. As a matter of fact, he was peeking through the looming eyes of the evil angel, calm and collected.
"I'm here to show you something, Seth".
"Show me what?! And who told you my name?", Seth heightened his tone as his courage began to grow bigger and bigger. His face was furiously frowned and his hand was firmly pointing to Wormwoods's face.
With this harsh approach, Wormwoods grimaced. He then bitterly sighed out a breeze that was windy enough to pull down a standing human. But to Seth's fortune, the big being's stuffy nose was not directly facing him — what a convenience.
"I want to teach you the rewards of the evil system. You see..."
"What? Evil system?! If it's that, I already knew its rewards and effects. Weakness, bareness, weekly period flows, dreamless nights, and of course, LIFE IN REVERSE!!!", Seth spoke, scowling widely. This boy seems to be getting too arrogant.
Wormwoods insisted on keeping calm. Though, he was already pissed off. But using a harsh reaction would only tarnish his plans. Like a calm good-natured angel, he bent down to partially measure Seth's standing height and produced his evil smile once again. But this time, this true b***h son was holding a dark light on his left wing.
'Are you going to kill me? Really?'
"Nah, not really. And don't think-talk again so you won't anger me. Speak to Wormwoods directly okay?"
"I won't speak to an evil being like you. Go ahead and die Wormwoods, the worms in you are so disgusting. Screw you b***h! ", yelled Seth who was about to burn down his lungs with his flaming anger. Since he was born he hated anything about evil because... He couldn't just do with such nonsense — evil tastes like crap when he tastes it.
Wormwoods has no choice now but to use his actual approach. His eyelids tweaked a bit as his face flesh evolved to that of a substantial evil angel.
"Seth! Try not to trip yourself into an abyss of trouble. I will make myself clear right now, Are you going for Good or Evil?".
"Damn you! I would rather become a vanished person than have Evil as my pride! f**k you b***h son!", Seth said with a rapid sprint as his next action. Sure, he had angered Wormwoods and already knew that he was in trouble. But what could have made him throw mounts of curses to Wormwoods? Was he the most devilish angel he had ever heard of?
'That would do, I guess. I won't have to see him in my dreams again".
Now, he had to remember his Good system.
"You have been watching us don't you?", he asked the system, checking out a safe place to hide since it seemed the angel was not chasing him.
"What he needs is just my core right?", he asked again.
"And why should you keep shut? ", Seth asked, fully disappointed.
"Huh! Too expensive, I don't even know why I have to earn points before doing something with you. Every system really has its own... Come on shut up Seth, Wormwoods is hearing what you are saying. He should be chuckling right now".
"Okay! Okay. Here we go". Seth ran towards towards two smiling lizards with a high speed. Raising his hands to give a bang, a green long terrible-looking viper ran into his legs. Seth panicked, he became visibly paler.
'What the heck are you doing around my innocent legs you... Cruel snake'.
It was as though, the snake wanted to terminate his plans to wake up. At least, that's what he had expected from the same evil creature.
Looking at the viper which was already about to crunch his legs in a matter of seconds, Seth quickly banged the long thick stick on the viper causing it to tremble on the sandy floor, undead.
He continued to hit its head hard without space for the viper to move any part of its lengthened body. Finally, the venomous Viper ceased to move, terribly smashed.
Wormwoods flew to Seth's direction with a wide quantity of dark smoky lights. This time, no messing-ups. Seth saw the outrage of Wormwoods showing future destruction. It's either he gets invoked by the spell or he gets out of this fuckin place.
He didn't know how to activate the awakening mode and that was a big blow. Wormwoods was getting the lights closer and closer, with overweighted breezes mixed up.
"How can I activate the awakening mode?! ".
Seth sighed and breathed in. He sealed his eyes and rapidly yelled.
"I must awake!!"
Cool wind gusts calmly and the system showed green phrases.
Wormwoods was already nigh. To Seth, it was too late. Was this how he would become an evil soul? Damn it!!! If so, then he would have to kill himself and vanish as promised.
Thereafter, Seth saw nothing but home. Yeah! It was truly home. But, it was still a home belonging to evil as usual. Thanks to his ever-present new system. This was the first thing he would tell his Nanny mother.
Ryder opened his eyes only to see another trouble in progress. Heart eaters are busy with the Old men's hearts. Who are they? The hairy beasts who really love new young pulpy hearts.
He quickly stood up and attempted to run through the window, slowly and quietly. His heart was jerking uncontrollably with apprehensiveness.
"What? Do you want me to die?
What? What the hell are you saying? Are you betraying me?
"Tsk! Whatever."
Before Seth could scrutinize back into the other room, his foes were already right in front of him. The Hairy Beasts had drawn near to him with urges of massacring pictured all over their features.
